Pogačar at 100% with 65 kg means that at the end of each stage on the Giro, Pog can leave in the dust whoever he wants and who will win both TTs, and Pog 100% on the Tour means everything the same as on the Giro, only with 1 kg less, and that's you my friend means that if he is ready for the Giro after 4 hours he will have 6.78w/kg on the final hill which lasts 30 minutes and he will have 6.9w/kg on the Tour
Ahem

“The magnitude of Tadej Pogacar’s win today cannot be overstated”

Called it!

What a legend.

A few of us knew he was right.

So does Pogi now try and get another 3 stage wins in the last week now, given his lead and that he is clearly strongest? It's not like the Giro when he had to save himself for the Tour?

Or does he save himself for the Olympics? With Van Aert and Van der Poel not looking at their best, he might have a good chance in that? Or will he be too tired and it's not suited enough for him?
I’m guessing 3 stage wins. Olympics is more of a nationality criterium unless he sees a clear path during the race, and then worlds and maybe Lombardia.
Part of me wishes he would go easy next week, skip Olympics, and give the vuelta plus worlds a go.

Read somewhere that Pog beat Pantani‘s record at Beille by about three minutes. Can that be true? I mean three minutes are a lot. And Pantani (1998?) went quite full gas from the start of the climb, I think I remember this day quite well.

What’s insane is that he doesn’t have a regular blog on this media platform. He’s not even allowed to post. Think about that. The folks who dogged and baited him are still here (at least the ones who didn’t delete their own accounts)
They talked a lot. "Not possible". Laughed at what he said. Broke it down with numbers and so on. So much for that.

It is quiet now.
