Personally never hidden I think its never been close when he is not injured, said that every stage before this happened and I'm from the young generation but that's just my two cents on it.

I simply never seen anything which suggest otherwise when jumbo themselves says he beat himself in 2022 and 2023 fracture to me that is all so I was hardly surprised.

In 2022 after beating himself in Granon stage, he was unable to drop Jonas in any of the upcoming stages and not for the lack of trying. He threw everything at him but that year, he just wasn’t better or at least he was not better enough to compensate for his much worse (and decimated) team. Anyway, this should suggest they were at least pretty close in 2022 - much much closer than they are today. Good for him, that he made a leap but claiming it was always like that is incorrect IMO…

Agree! But I most say every time UAE post a video where we hear the sport directors talk, I'm shocked how stupid they sounds.
I think Pog is just running the meetings basically and telling them how he wants to race, basically if he wants to win the stage or not. And these poor fellas just go along because you don't really want to upset him lol

Stage 15. Well the best climbing performance of all time atleast now I dont have to endure meaningless discussions with people about someone else beeing better cause they beat him once when he was injured...

I still dont know what to say after the Giro I didnt expect him to get better this is next level, the coach part people talked about months ago sure has to play a part here cause he was already the best but now he is byyyy far the best of all time. Best climbing performance of all time after winning the Giro by 10min..

We have heard people from within the peloton, cyclist, legends, pros etc continuously talk about him in this sense that hes the goat, Gilbert, Contador, Thomas, Hinault, Kelly, Rowe and entire eurosport during the Giro Ive brought it up here with so many links from many diferent people it made you wonder what they know and why everyone seems to have agreed on this part like its the most common sense thing in the world but I wasnt ready for this kind of performance and even Ive always knowned ofcourse that he was the best cause that have always been obvious for a while but even this level was crazy to watch. Well im just glad I got to witness it.

Pure history as we speak nothing else and its always been the case with this guy. Chapeau

Patrick Broe straight up said pogi is the best GC rider of all time. Best rider of all time.
Its nothing new everyone knew that beating Pogacar when he was injured never changed that, Evenpoel and Roglic would beat him last year and nothing to do with anyone but his injury. Roglic and Evenpoel wasnt and wouldnt become better GT riders beacuse of that thats just wishfull thinking to a new level its definitely not objective lets just leave it there its not even worth talking about its so off always has been.

Its so easy to hear entire peloton speak everytime it becomes very very easy what they all know, they all say that which you say he said, that hes the best rider of all time ive lost count now long time ago its just is what it is its pure history. When so many profiles within cycling say it so regulary and normal then you know its been accepted and agreed upon as common knowledge.

Its nothing new weve knowned this for a very long time now how can we not when literally all the greats, legends and pros in the peloton say it.. But that he would do the best climbing performance of all time after the Giro with this huge margin even suprised me. This was something else and for the books before / after. He is the best of all time and thats not close anymore and the crazy part thats not even fanboy talking its pure logic and accepted upon even already within cycling community he is clearly dubbed it already and the guy is 25 years old. Crazy time to be alive.

"Cycling is evolving so much, I must say," Pogačar said. "Six years ago, when I came to this team, and I don't want to speak bad about the team, it was totally different. If I compare this year to my first year in Vuelta, it was almost amateur. Back then, I thought everything was professional, but we moved on really fast. Every team pushes each other with technology, with nutrition, with training plans, with altitude camps. Especially Visma and UAE, and Ineos and Trek and QuickStep, we push each other to reach new limits.

"Yesterday, we witnessed the fastest-ever climbing and we should be seeing something like this every year because everybody is focusing so much on the details – every single gram of the food, every single watt you can save on the bike. We are going super fast. For me, it's really impressive to see how things changed in the last six years of my professional career."

He's on the edge of The Double. No one wants to catch the blame for a failed execution if what you say is true.
Not really Poor Fellas, though if they are successful.

The reason why I think he should maybe do the Vuelta is because no one has ever done it before. It would elevate Pogi to Merckx status without a doubt. If Pogi is going to be acknowledged as the GOAT, he needs to do things that are so insane that even Merckx didn't. Especially if there are big races where he won't win like Paris-Roubaix. He still looks so at ease and riding within himself. I don't think there will be anyone there to be close to him, apart from Roglic but he is a level below and 50/50 if he even finishes, and he can probably cruise to a win like he did in the Giro
you suree about that :)

Considering what happened to Cav and what has happened to Teddy then flashing off a very expensive watch is not always smart.

Price tag of that watch? A whopping 340,000 euros.

A year ago, Pogacar made headlines when the court in Nice sentenced two men to four years in prison for the theft of several luxury watches, including an expensive one owned by Tadej Pogacar. This happened during the Paris-Nice.

Considering the ones worn at Tour de France cost more than double the price of his stolen timepiece, the owner would probably rather wear his Swiss timepiece than leave it on the team bus or hotel.

Pogacar is now on 9 GT stage wins this year and I think it's fair to speculate that he's not done yet. When was the last time someone won more GT stages than that in a single season?

Petacchi won 9 in the Giro in 2005, and Hinault won 9 in the Tour and Giro combined in 1982, but who was the last on 10 or more in a season? Is the answer simply Maertens?
