Pogacar now has four major wins in 2024. If he wants to have the best season of all time he needs to win Lombardia as well.

If someone showed this to him, and you bet that happened, Pogi will be in full focus for a Lombardia total smash.

Remco is "overweight" now for a climbing course. As strange as it gets, Enric Mas is Pogacar's biggest threat but with this UAE, I don't see where is Pogacar not a winner of 2024 Lombardia.
Their lineup will have something like this:

His season ALREADY is the best of all time.

But make no mistake, he will win Lombardia again, in a stomping fashion nonetheless.

Lombardia really seems easy to win even in this eaiser route. Sormano has a 10 km stretch at 7% and a final 1.5km at 9%. UAE will just muder everyone before Pogacar's attack at 1km to the top.

It's the perfect opportunity for a double WC. He will be clearly the number one favourite for both races and after seeing 2024 Zurich road race, I can see him destroying the field in Kigali with 90 km to the finish line

Pogacar is retiring after the 2036 season on my pcm22 save.

He's ridden for UAE for three seasons, then he joined Alpecin for 2025 &26, a random pro-conti for 27 & 28 before joining Jumbo-Visma in 29 & 30, Trek for 31, another random WTT for 32 & 33, Noro Novodisk for 34 before ending his career with the conti team: LNER (at this point in a british conti team)

In that time period he's won 163 races.
4 Tours 20,21,22,23 (podiums in 24, 25, 26) & 28 stage wins
1 Giro & 9 stage wins
2 Vueltas & 7 stage wins

1 euro championship & 3 worlds podiums
5 monuments (3 lombardy, 2 Liege)
2 AG & 1 Fleche

3 Tour Suisse
1 Basque
2 TA & Catalyuna

He won a 100 races in the first five years of the save & his stats started to decrease..combined with his poor team selection meant he only won 48 in the last ten.

No radios help Pogacar instead of riders more robotics like Vingegaard. I found very curious when Pogacar told Politt how Vingegaard seems nervous when he doesn't have teammates with him.

Weaker teams and no radios normally create more chaos and help underdogs...unless the favourite behaves like an underdog and attacks 100 km from the line!

But PCS is not great. Freddy Maertens has better seasons than 2024 Pogacar according with PCS. We all know this is not true. I could say others like Moser, De Vlaeminck, Jalabert.
For example Saronni and Hinault have the same points in 1979 (Hinault best season for PCS).

Duh goes without saying but still. Its not close at all. If Pogacar is not 100% then its close if he is 100% weve seen it time and time again recently at this Tour when everyone was doing their best numbers - where they said they was at their best and it was faaar from close. Lance and Bruynel W there but kinda obv and common sense.

TT is not the big either imo. Looked at the circuit for WC next year and he will be huge fav again yeah.

Is Pcm22 a game like fm or something? didnt even know it existed but now i dont play any games at all. Lets hope he retires in 2036 then He has spoiled us all tbh, how can watch cycling now, every race he is not in you just know it would be different and a level up if he is there.

Like I said, you can proof anything with statistics. It all depends on how you assign a numeric value to whatever you deem important.

Thats even more obvious yeah. He struggle even in GT where the stages surpass 210km + but yeah. Great rider dont get me wrong the second best GT rider atm so I mean no disrespect, no shame in that.

Its just that its so blatantly obvious in reality the level Pogacar has is so far from anyone else - ever. He has actually spoiled us to oblivion, he simply shouldnt be able to retire. Like watching fotball without messi and Barcelona now its depressing af in comparison. Luckily he is only 26

Lombardia a given (he gonne all inn 110%) and its gonne be the perfect way to end the perfect season. Hoping Roglic and Evenepoel put up a awesome race too. Evenepoel and Pog to the finish together would be epic but its a rather tall ask to ask for.

Neither Tadej or Jonas have shown much in standalone TT events so far. Remco would still be the favourite but it would be no surprise to see Pogacar win.
