No he was pacing Kuss, because Vingegaard attacked, and when he noticed that Kuss dropped he came back after him.
He was talking about sierra de bejes, and Kuss was dropped on that stage, he finished some seconds behind roglic, he didn't waited for him.
In the next stage he attcked, and everyone dropped bar Vingegaard, who was hanging for dear life.
You can say that 17373784 millions times, it will still not be true.

One of this days you will say that vingegaard needed a oxygen mask after angliru because he was almost dead 😂

Do you know who was almost dead in the dauphine 2022 on plateau de solaison? Roglic. Vingegaard waited for him.

From Pogačar's Instagram: a nice little reel summing up 2023 and another one for 2024 expectations - the second one to "I'm So Excited" by The Pointer Sisters, which in my opinion could be the soundtrack of his cycling career.

So, I might have missed it, but is T-A definitely out and Catalunya in?

So I have a question I'm starting to think this might be the right thread for. Who do you guys think was better. Nibali or Valverde?
Objectively speaking, if Nibali wasn't crashed by an Ineos helper on alpes dhuez, he would win Sanremo, tour de France, World championship and Lombardia in the same season. Please don't compare him to a guy who won a few uphill sprints in Belgium and Murcia.

Yes, Pogi's doing Catalunya and not doing Tirreno, from all I've heard. PCS still have him listed as doing both, for some reason. I personally wish he was doing Tirreno purely for selfish reasons (because I'm going to a couple of it's stages, lol). He has a packed schedule, for sure!

Glad someone has posted about Pogi in the Pogi thread again. The last few pages have just been a load of waffle about everyone except him!!

I think Nibali was better because he won more important races. He won the three Grand Tours and he won two monuments, Il lombardia 2x and Milan San Remo.
You used the right word this time - you think. But you think wrong.
Valverde is of course better, because he won:
more stage races (25-14)
more GT stages (17-13)
more one day races (32-13)
more World Tour races (61-24)
and simply lot more races (133-52)

Vingegaard?
Yeah, but it‘s common practice that these big rivals don’t train together… That’s how I meant it.

Once there was speculation that Jan Ullrich would join US Postal, after it was clear that Bianchi would be gone after 2003. So there was speculation Ullrich would become teammate of Lance for 2004. Many would have felt betrayed of this big duel between these two, however - Ulle then joined T-Mobile, for a second time.

Well, as an exception, one could say, MvdP/WVA/Pidcock use to train together, every week or so, in winter: at every CX race at which they face each other… ;)

In the past, there was a Monaco based training group consisting of Gilbert, Matthews and Hushovd, but I think that‘s rather an exception…

Thank you so much - I was indeed confused looking at PCS!

It's a pity you won't be able to see him race in T-A this year, but I hope you'll still have a wonderful time there.

Who the best rider is depends on what kind of style you prefer. To me, Nibali was a less exciting version of Samuel Sánchez while Valverde was a less exciting version of Roglič.
In your(the question is for everybody) opinion who has a better career until now? Valverde or roglic? Even if Valverde already retired.

Who has the better final mountain sprint? Valverde or roglic?

Oh yes, I can't wait to go to the stages. Looking forward to seeing Pippo and MVDP! I'm actually going to 5 different races over a 2-week period in March, which is going to be crazy but fun. Pogi will be at some of the other races so I'll still get to see him again. I was just hoping to see him do the ITT at T-A though but never mind!

I got some good pics of Pogs that I took in November that I'd happily share but can't figure out how to post them here. I can't find a suitable site to upload them to, to copy the URL's. The ones I tried didn't work. Shame we can't just upload pics to here directly, it's silly.

That sounds awesome! May I ask which other races you're going to?

I don't upload a lot of pictures, but I think this works? And I think you can also add the picture format at the end of the URL.

I'm going to Strade Bianche, then the first two stages of Tirreno-Adriatico, then the last two stages of Paris-Nice, then the start of Milano-Torino and the start of Milano-Sanremo (last year I went to the end of it). I'll have some days in between to relax in Nice and Monaco. My friend and I do everything on the cheapest budget possible. It's going to be crazy going to so many races this time but hopefully a lot of fun. We went to the end of Paris-Nice last year and a couple of midway stages of the Giro D'Italia and it was so great. It's amazing to see all our favourite cyclists.
