He disappointed a lot?. To the contrary - I am not basing this on anything mou has posted either. Today from Pogacar must surely match anything we have seen from Vingegaard so far this season? Its only March and Pogacar needs to measure his efforts for the season ahead - unlike Vingegaard. Yet huge gaps opened in just 6.5Km and Catalunya has a strong field of climbers.
Exactly this. It wasn’t a hard stage as well over 120 riders arrived together at the foot of the final climb yet by the mid point of the climb they were shattered into tiny groups with Pog long gone alone.

When I ride in the rain I also feel better (less spent) than my friends. You always feel it harder if you ride in bad weather. Gaining 1'20" in 6,5km is a really strong performance. Now he doesn't have to go hard the next stages, just go for the win in the end. He doesn't need to get any better for the Giro it seems, good benchmark.

Good to see Almeida in 4th. And even Soler 15th, ready to attack the team orders.

they fear him and respect him, the fisherman has my respect when he comes to the duel with Pog at Strade Bianche 2025, let's see what will be the excuse for canceling this time, maybe he will have to drive his mother-in-law to a manicure in a rickshaw.
There you go.

What a ride today, in this crappy weather, we barely had any pics. Super strong.

Meh, this level might just be enough to beat 50 year old Geraint Thomas with boni seconds in the Giro but it sure as hell won't stand a chance against the Danish Orca who'll tear this baby shark to shreds.
Roglic and Remco might be overrated but at least they have the balls to go to Itzulia, meanwhile this guy prefers to beat the likes of Chris Harper, boring as feck.

He beat Chris Harper by 104 seconds.

don't begrudge me, but some members of this forum really need to be taken to the hospital for observation to determine if they are for hospitalization or to be checked once a month, but you should definitely go to the doctor, there is no mistake

these guys act like they don't serve Pog just like girls from Romania when they come to Rocco Sifredi's for casting, only to be splashed on them, ok if they want a new golden shower tomorrow, GOAT will deliver it to the yellow army

the haters thought they would put an end to @mou's hype today, but after today he went to unimaginable heights, some people's dioptres were removed, some who are completely blind saw a little, and even the Pope personally can't help the haters as much as they troll and have malice in them. ...

The conversation about bad weather for Pogacar is BS. Yes, the majority of the riders suffer more in bad weather, but Pogacar it's opposite, based on the claims Pogacar and the UAE perfomance staff said in the past. Yes, Pogacar already said he is better in bad weather, it suits him, and you just need to remember romme/colombiere where the weather was even worse than today.

So, the conditions for Pogacar today were very good, and he disappointed a lot, specially because of silly statements that he was going to be a lot better this year.
Dude, he is not better in bad weather, he just copes better the rain than his rivals which means his performance don't go down too much but there is no rider who can climb a mountain faster on wet roads instead of dry roads.

guys, relax, I told you nicely, but you persistently don't listen, in the next 4 years, Pog will not lose a single one-week and grand tour race, everything else is not important, and that is as safe as in your safe, today was a bit stronger training that he works in Monaco, you persistently deny the fact who is writing about Pog, someone very familiar with the situation
Love Pogi but you are such a troll.

The very fact that this even requires an explanation on a cycling forum shows the blinkered nature of cycling fans. He set a record time in horrible weather conditions having rode much of the climb solo and was most likely riding within himself. That’s about all we know, it’s difficult to extrapolate that information and speculate how it might have compared to Vingegaard. But to my mind, at least visually, it was a brutal show of strength.

I wasn't talking directly about that( the part of 15 s faster than ciccone was messing a bit), i was saying that in terms of power, it wasn't a superb performance. Pogacar already did better than this in the past, with worse weather than today.

What are you, a time traveler?

Why don't you use your super powers to get rich from sports betting instead of just annoying us luddites?
