If no vuelta im guessing Moviestar is next for him but ive heard he is very close to Matxin and its hard to let go of a talent like that aswell maybe uae dont care?

For Ayuso i guess it makes sense to look at a team that will potentially be one of the top teams in next 5 years. UAE already is one and that doesn't bode well with him. Switching to another top team would likely have a similar effect, switching to a team lacking ambitions makes no sense. So a team on the rise but not there yet, that could do it.

It does indeed make much more sense at least from a sporting perspective for sure.
Only part moviestar does is the spanish ties/connections. But who knows what Ayuso thinks and IF Evenpoel comes to Red bull I guess that would contradict that theory. But personally would much rather see him in Bora aswell.

I will be sure that he won't do the Vuelta 5 days before the race if he is not announced to go. After a few days when all the Post Tour criteriums and celebrations are over and Pog is alone with himself to think he might change his mind. The same way he decided emotionally that he won't go to Paris he might decide to go to Lisbon.

They outlined pogis full season schedule and the vuelta wasn’t on it. For whatever reason they did promise something to other race team leaders. But I have a feeling nothing could be promised around the vuelta given physical demands of all racing up through the tour. Why would any of them try to be in top physical condition as a domestique if they were promised protected support for the vuelta?

It’s stage 20 tour all over again. Just 6x. For this to be okay, he just needs to dedicate each stage victory to something happening in the world
