(Only recently saw this.)
Could it be that what he's doing is spending time with family and friends? Just generally having a life outside cycling.
I suppose - harsh as it might sound - that someone who is 110% focused on cycling would not miss out on defending a Monument title because his MIL was dying. However, Pogacar did just that, because he's not just a cyclists, he's also a nice young man, who just wanted to be there for the woman he loves.

I don't know but I have a strange feeling Pogacar's buddies will help him. I'm talking about Yates, Felix Grobchartner, Sivakov will do something in order to make the race hard for Pogacar.

I am thinking about the optimal strategy for remco . If I was him I would send the irritating teenagers to knock at Pogacars door about 00.30 in the night
Should be when he's settling down towards his deepest point of sleep, and it's best to disrupt it early.

Well obviously they need to go out there before he goes to sleep, if he‘s already sleeping it‘s too late. Probably start doing it 9 pm or sometime about then.

Mine was also a joke because Remco gets stomped a lot by Rog😁 All this joking aside, me as a fan don’t find these constant reminders how many times my summer got screwed due to Rog being gravitationally challenged particularly funny. But you do what you’ve gotta do, I have no problem with that. But I will make a counter-joke myself from time to time…
