cervelo's stem is not more aero. Go to their website and you will not find any claims that the stem is like that for aero purposes. They originally did it to facilitate internal routing for mechanical shifting (gentler bends than other internal routing solutions). Later they dropped support for mech shifting but kept the "iconic" stem.
The aero claims for the s5 derive from the narrow head tube (due to external steerer), wing-shaped bars, and deep tubes all around. The stem is just marketing at this point.
I imagine the colnago is also mostly trying to stand out in a sea of sameness.

Huh he said at the end of the season that he was disappointed that he couldn't get in his best shape for WC & Lombardy, so i doubt he was pushing his best numbers.

He is getting used to his new position and probably can't push watts like he used before however with better cda he can go faster. The flat TT will be interesting to see if he is more used to his new position and probably be closer to Remco than what we think.

The new position didn't worked out that well. He did a performance at the same level of vine.
Yes perhaps, saw him crying about something after the stage so maybe it was that.
Maybe the new bikes too, getting spitroasted by Harold Tejada and Lionel Taminiaux in an uphill sprint I didn't see coming to be honest

Go ahead and compare their best performances in a WC ITT (which is probably the best comparasion of a TT abilities) and come back with the results.

You can add his second place in UAE last year. And him beating Evenepoel (admittedly with a small crash) and a certain danish rider you're a fan of in the Basque Country. And him beating that random Italian rider Affini in Burgos.

P.s. He also promised that UAE will destroy that TTT in Valencia so it's 0 of 2. Pogacar will of course win UAE and most of the people would say how great Mou is for predicting that.
