He coming to the giro to win it. And will be in top shape for sure. He is not like Pogacar that can win the giro on 90%

What I fear is that he can’t hold that from to the Tour. Because he have no history of keeping form over that long. He always bad in the second grand tour.

He has done 2 back-to-back GT's only once in 2018. And if I remember correctly, he was a good helper for his brother.

Don't think we have any history to suggest that he's bad in hs second GT. Besides he only needs to be good for 2-3 stages in the second half of the race.

Sending Yates to the giro it’s the dumbest idea. He always bad in the second grand tour in a season. Fear him being super bad in the Tour.
Luckily Visma made same mistake with Simon.
Adam Yates will not be expending full energy in the first week of the tour trying to stay high on GC so I don’t have too many worries that he will be ready for 2/3 key high mountain stages in the second half of the race.

Adam Yates will be important in 4 stages only. Stages 12, 14 (he will rest in the MTT), 18, 19. Maybe I could add Mont Ventoux but it is a unipuerto stage so he doesn't need to be good.

''Pogacar underwent a thorough examination the day after the Strade, during which no injuries were found. The Slovenian struggled with muscle pain for a few days after the crash, but was back on the bike on Monday. On Thursday, Pogacar completed a training session in Monaco. In other words, his participation in Milan-Sanremo (Saturday 22 March) is not in jeopardy.''
