Spring ended with a lot of success. Now some rest and all in for the Tour.
I'm Team Pog, but I really appreciate Vingegaard as a rider. Having both him and Pog at the Tour makes it more exciting. If we only had one of them, it would be pretty boring.Hopefully mate. Can't stand Vingegaard.
While you're right that Pogi took a step up last year, it's important to remember that Vingegaard probably wasn't at 100%. I don't see how he could have been, to be honest, given the awful Basque Country crash. So I think we could get a very close battle between them if they both come into the Tour at 100%.Vinge is damn good, don't get me wrong, but Pog took a step up last year and he seems even stronger this year, especially regarding attacking hard on steep sections. If Vinge can reach Pog's level in the tour I will be surprised. And even if he can I don't know how he actually wins over Pog. Gaining time on itt? Nah. Distancing Pog on hard mounting stags with long climbs at high altitude? Nah.
Sorry, I don't see it. I hope I'm wrong otherwise the Tour will be boring as hell.
Still, Vinge had his best TdF ever. Performance wise. While you're right that Pogi took a step up last year, it's important to remember that Vingegaard probably wasn't at 100%. But what could he have done with perfect preparation? He would surely have been closer to Pogacar.Still, Vinge had his best TdF ever. Performance wise.
I'm not sure about the one who's missing in action. Let's wait until July.Pogacar has 2 rivals, only 2. Not more not less.
Don't be silly, Vingegaard already won the Tour twice against Pogacar. He arrived last year in his best shape but had a suboptimal preparation. If not, he would be even better IMHO and Don't forget Visma will be stronger than UAE in the mountains.I'm not sure about the one who's missing in action. Let's wait until July.
I'm quietly optimistic that this year could be the best Tour so far in terms of their rivalry. Fingers crossed anyway!Don't be silly, Vingegaard already won the Tour twice against Pogacar. That's history, I have no idea where he stands today. But I expect Jonas to be at least runner up.Don't be silly, Vingegaard already won the Tour twice against Pogacar. Yeah, Pogi would be a 5 time TdF winner if Javier Sola came to UAE earlier. Inigo San Millan wasn't doing his job properly. Tadej Pogacar himself said that he wants a new trainer.Yup, Pogacar would be a 5 time TdF winner or alternatively Vingegaard would be a 4 time TdF winner (and none of them would have a big rival). Vingegaard is the main reason why Tour 2025 has suspence.
Haha. You cant be serious? Are you waiting on Kuss still to show up in 25 or who are you waiting for, Simon Yates? What a commentDon't forget Visma will be stronger than UAE in the mountains.
Yates, Kuss, Matteo vs Almeida, Yates, SivakovHaha. You cant be serious? Are you waiting on Kuss still to show up or who are you waiting for, Simon Yates? lol what a comment
Yeah, then you’re living in the past, 22 or 23 still cause notihng of that resemble anything in 25 or even 24.Yates, Kuss, Matteo vs Almeida, Yates, Sivakov
If they are all at their best, I would choose Visma domestiques
Nah.Yates, Kuss, Matteo vs Almeida, Yates, Sivakov
If they are all at their best, I would choose Visma domestiques
Only if Kuss can be at his best again.Nah.
I still think it was a strange statement.Only if Kuss can be at his best again.
S Yates and Kuss, bit unknown how strong they are going to be. Matteo is good.Yates, Kuss, Matteo vs Almeida, Yates, Sivakov
If they are all at their best, I would choose Visma domestiques
Different opinions. I rate Kuss and Matteo very highly and they will not race the Giro like Yates.I still think it was a strange statement.
