It's the same people arguing that Evenepoel could win Liège, Flèche, WC etetc or even finish within 30 seconds in Liège which I said would be extremely shocking due to the difference in numbers, basic stuff.

Same people, different day, same debate based on wishful thinking every race last 14months—like clockwork, before every race. I get it, and there's nothing wrong with that either, hope is good, but at some point, Pogacar's ridiculous strength and numbers since entire -24 and now and the sheer numbers behind what he's doing and does in every race now should sink in to some degree, especially for those watching every race under the sun.

Hes obviously in a different stratosphere. All I ever go by and care about are basic various numbers. That's all that matters. Numbers never lie, emotions always do.

But we don't really have a comparable set of data for Vingegaard. 2024 isn't hugely helpful because his Tour prep was atrocious, and this year the concussion has meant that we haven't really seen him very much. I agree with you in theory but in practice I think Vingegaard is a bit of an unknown quantity for the 2025 Tour - none of us really have an idea as to how good he will be. If I was UAE I would assume he'll be amazing, then at least you won't be caught napping if he really is in outstanding form at the Tour.

D-7 before the next POGGENHEIMER launch.
Lets see his last 10-11 races(UAE tour not worthy its training camp) He almost redefines modern cycling norms in every race he touches simply by the way he races them now. Lets run down his last 9-11 races only.

MSR was redefined how it was ridden in modern age, due to his ridiculous pure wattage display by going at Cipressa. In Fleche, he won by the biggest margin of all time when the riders came together at Mur de Huy, seemingly unbothered.

At Roubaix, he managed to beat every powerhouse in the world except MVDP on pure flat cobbles, finishing second despite a crash(still wouldnt win), something unheard of in modern times too at Roubaix, considering he's the best climber of all time.

The WC last year weren’t long ago and within the timespan, 90-100 km attack.. Lombardia slaughter margin followed. The Giro-Tour double was also unprecedented in modern times, and this is, what, only his last 9-10 worthy races? With RVV, AGR, and Liège in between. Haters will say you have to be a fan to say this, yet these are literally just the results—and in how they were achieved.. By modern cycling norms, most of these races redefines modern cycling. I expect he gets his 100 by end of Dauphine.

how do you know, maybe he's still in sierra, has he finished today?

Sivakov posted on Instagram saying they finished their high-altitude training camp today.

Narvaez also bids farewell to his training camp in Ecuador. It looks like Narvaez will finally be at the Tour.
I think he has to be the rider to mark Van Aert. What happened to Finestre can't happen to them in the Tour. If Van Aert is ahead, the UAE has to have someone, and Narvaez fits that Van Aert profile.

Not today. It was yesterday.

Stage 7 is set to be an absolute bloodbath.

Vingegaard will want to make a statement that he is back better than ever.

Pogi must show he is the number 1 climber to strip Visma of their insufferable confidence.

Theres gonna be enough watts generated to power France for a week

Photos of Pogacar and co also read somewhere that they will have a new helmet for the Tour...

Maybe they should've taken one more climber to Dauphiné
One more climber means Almeida or Yates? And thats not feasible as Almeida needs to get to be leader in Suisse and Yates just did the Giro.

Dauphine team -1 along with Almeida and Yates is the likely tour team I guess. And I think it makes sense as Sky and Visma earlier proved that rouleurs who can climb are the most useful domestiques.

This being posted right after a video with Pogacar in a WC jersey and on his TT bike is kinda hilarious.
It was posted by someone outside the UAE. This Slovakian Twitter user is the one who tweeted that comment.
