Visma used a lot of energy today. Vingo himself eating a lot of wind chasing MVP for reasons thah only visma understand. Pogi sitting in with only some team echelon managment, faring as well as anyone. Not a bad day in yellow

Imo super low, the last climbs tomorrow are easy, plus without almeida they have to pick very few stages to focus on

Small chances. They will spare their weakened train for the Pyrenees. it's more likely that Visma will try something.

I hope not. He should let his team do the work and maintain a 1 minute gap. Pogacar can close that easily.

Sure, if his team is still strong enough they should do the job. He may get a bit isolated by Visma, especially without Almeida (more likely in higher mountains than tomorrow).

This. Pogacar will launch his attack with 5.5 km to go on Hautacam. He can gain 1'30" on Matteo. In the MTT, he will lose another 1'15". So more than 4' behind Pogacar.

I really don’t think they can allow Jorgensen into the break and this is one of 3 total guys they need to attend to carefully.

Tomorrow without Almeida is the second most dangerous day for Pogacar in this Tour.
He needs to be smart and not chase Jorgenson like a mad dog.

The easiest place to deal with Jorg (and Vingo. And Remco) is when you are right on their wheel. If Jorg is in the break UAE has to do all of the chasing with all of that vert.

Conversely. Lipo or roglic in the break means visma and QS have to attend to the break all day on that vert

If UAE can't control a stage with less than 170 km and zero high mountains, they are screwed in the mountains.
