He had enough gap, that a heavier bike wouldn't be a problem.

Yes, the V5RS is a much better choice for the cobbles, but I still don't understand why he didn't change to the Y1RS for the Ardennes and for the Dauphiné.... if it's a better bike...

This will all become clear after the Tour. If he likes the bike, he will continue to use it in every situation.

Maybe Matxin wants to take him to the Vuelta so he can stay in UAE.
It's a coincidence that two days ago the Spanish press reported that Ayuso could participate in the Vuelta instead of Pogacar, and now this.
The best thing for everyone is for him to move to another team. Although I've always thought Ayuso doesn't have much reason to be unhappy. He's led a GT every year, except last year because of his insistence on the Tour de France.

Not even Pogacar did two GTs at that age.

By the way, what a time to leak those things. His team in a decisivo week of the Tour.

It still doesn't make sense. He is trolling us for sure.
For example he lost AGR on rolling terrain, the aero bike would make much more sense and he still rode the V5Rs

on ventoux there's basically always wind (the climb is named so for a reason). If he has his Pdb level and the team is good he beats the record by quite a lot considering the stage is much easier than pdb. But he needs that level
