If you actually read my posts, you'd understand I think the same. That doesnt change the fact that Roglic obviously should be a domestique.Roglic prepared for it and went to altitude for it. He’s no domestique

You forgot the all-important Kuss role of hanging around, looking menacing. Without doing anything.I honestly think the best way is simply to have Roglic do a single pull to set up Pogacar's attack and then just spend the next hour paying homage to Simon Gerrans wheelsucking the chasing group.
A Libertine classic. You forgot the all-important Kuss role of hanging around, looking menacing. Without doing anything.
I disagree, for the same reason that next year WVA will also not be a domestiqueIf you actually read my posts, you'd understand I think the same. That doesnt change the fact that Roglic obviously should be a domestique.
Comical to compare Remco to Pogacar. But aightI disagree, for the same reason that next year WVA will also not be a domestique
Indeed, Pogacar doesn't even have Olympic goldComical to compare Remco to Pogacar. But aight
Maybe Rogla has a creative interpretation of what it means to be the last dom? He doesn't take orders, only suggestions.
Anyone thinking Roglic should have a similar role (similar leadership) to Pogacar is mentally dishonest. Pogacar's palmares is by far better in classics compared to Roglic and any other cyclist bar MVP.
No one is saying Roglic should have the same role. He should have a free role. The rest of the national team can ride for Pogacar.Anyone thinking Roglic should have a similar role (similar leadership) to Pogacar is mentally dishonest. It definitely won't be the other way around. There isn't any situation where Pogacar goes to the front for Roglic and help him.I mean maybe Rogla will ride for Pogi, maybe it will be the other way around. It all depends on the circumstances that is the luxury we have.

Roglic will probably be cooked after 180 km and will do another half pull for PogacarThere's no obligation to do the WC, it's not a normal WT race. Rogla doesn't have to listen to the national coach. He said: "Free role or I'm not there" and the coach decided it's better to have him than not.
Yeah, Roglic really worked as a domestique a lot of times in his career...Recall how Pogi made fun of Rogla in the Tour last year? What has he done recently to make Rogla want to work for him?
He can take a leaf out of the Sepp Kuss book of luxury domestique work by floating around in the lead group looking serene whilst staying away from the front not doing any actual work for his leader.I honestly think the best way is simply to have Roglic do a single pull to set up Pogacar's attack and then just spend the next hour paying homage to Simon Gerrans wheelsucking the chasing group.
Looks to be pretty much the same parcours as 2023.Just 238 km, 4500 vertical meters. Are they trying to not put really hard climbs for other riders to challenge Pogacar?
I still think they don't have a chance.

Really hard climbs in Lombardia would likely suit Pogacar more than any other rider. Are they trying to not put really hard climbs for other riders to challenge Pogacar?

Don't get too excited. In fact, I change my avatar (to Roglic until 2026) if Roglic finishes under 4' behind Pogacar. We'll see.
For example Pogi did it in his last race, nothing wrong with that.
It's still very underwhelming. Civiglio is missed IMO.Looks to be pretty much the same parcours as 2023.
