They should've tried this every MSR, but they are so fixated on making Pogacar win, that they forgot to win as a team.
I understand the point you're making, but ultimately they don't want to win with anybody, they want to win with Pogacar. The team wins so much that MSR on its own doesn't mean that much to them. However, they're all in on the Pogacar legacy at the moment, so they're happy to go for Pogacar or no-one. And I do get it - I'd rather watch them try to win it as Pogacar than attack with multiple riders. It's wildly entertaining.

Indeed. Jorgenson too, and along with Lidl and the rest you mentioned. Healy is also a heavy hitter here. And who knows, if Van Gils has some sort of renaissance year, he performed very well in 24 throughout.

Seixas ended on a high and will improve. Interesting to see how he does too. Strade going to be lit, very stacked year.

Pogi wants a record fourth win.

Another MSR training ride on Monday but looking at the Strava segment times it was clearly just a getting the kms into the legs ride rather than a hard effort targeting big efforts on the climbs.

I am disappointed in Bling's blue socks after he stated in a podcast that he only wears white socks.

Hes ridiculous. Sometimes even hard to properly gauge him and how much better he really is vs everyone in some cases, for instance Kigali..A loot of peoples mental arent ready for a Pogacar if he still keeps on improving even more.

Especially when you look at how far ahead Remco is above the pack for 2nd in hilly one day races. Remco is an all time beast in those events and yet the gap between himself and Pogacar is still bigger than the gap between Remco and the best of the rest.

Especially then yes cause indeed Remco is special in one days himself. Its just crazy when its to the point its hard to even measure the gap properly duo the fashion in which he wins. Thats the insane part to me not the win and gap.

HLN had a long interview with Florian Vermeersch. Most of the stuff isn't interesting for this topic, besides 1 thing. They discussed the sportive space, giving riders the possibility to go for their own results and tweak their schedule a bit, and that this works very well for their team, hence the motivation and wins.

In Strade Bianche, MSR and Flanders he has to ride for Pogacar. But that's not the case in Paris-Roubaix, where he can ride for himself. Obviously if he isn't feeling well he will ride for Pogi, but if he thinks he can win himself he can go for his own chances.

Was a bit surprising to me since Roubaix is so important to Pogacar.

Interesting, one would think that in Roubaix he also had to work for Pogacar but maybe they're trying to force the competitors to work and pull after him, it's basically the only race Pogacar does where he not a favourite and that's possible

It's the only race, according to Florian Vermeersch, where he could actually be better than Pogacar and win from him. During the recon of Roubaix he was able to put Pogacar on the back foot. While during the recon of Flanders it was obviously the other way around.

Pogacar isn't the favorite for Roubaix, but Vermeersch is even less so. Last year he couldn't keep up with Van der Poel for a single meter. The idea of overtaking sounds good, but with MVDP and Alpecin after 2023 in Roubaix is impossible.
I just want to remind that Philipsen has been second two years in a row and last year he was the rider who go with them for several kilometers, not Vermeersch.

The same old argument. Pogacar isn't the favorite, but he's the only one close to MVDP in that race, but it's better to focus on a rider who can't even keep up with Philipsen.
