I have thought about it. Pogacar was just 20 years old when he joined UAE - everyone experiences huge natural progression at this age. How many 19 year old riders are training like pros whilst still amateurs?

I certainly don't think Pogacar is clean - how could he possibly be. But I draw the line at motors. Even Gianetti's infamy came from blood doping back in 2008 (Cera EPO).

Unchained and now HashRouge have pointed out with simple facts, logic and reason why motor doping isn't feasible. Sorry to burst that bubble.

A better path is to read what others like Tim Cahill mentioned yesterday about more sophisticated blood doping. But then the wheel turns back to other teams. I think there is an arms race. Visma briefly held sway but then Gianetti upped the game.

What we really need to understand is how none of the big fish trigger the passport? I also think there is much misunderstanding from fans on how the passport works including which blood markers it tracks.

That was hardly a concern yesterday. Also, did he edit it out afterwards or did his bike computer crash? Because at the point it stopped he was just going out of the saddle on the steepest part of the Mur.

He only eased up near the end. If he was 19 seconds slower than JA then it was because of what happened at the bottom of the climb.

I saw that too, but Strava has a setting were you don't show the first and last part of your rides, to don't show where you live. I use it myself on Strava. I think this is turned on on his account.

I can't figure out if people are intentionally getting off message!! Pogacar is getting blood transfusions with worms, riding a bike with an motor and associated controls that are ignored by public, bike inspectors, post race inspections, race organizations and then the kicker he either doesn't use the advantages or loses intentionally so that he can save credibility for cheating correctly for certain races.
If these motors are available, why not everyone on UAE? And why crash? That's a puzzle for sure!! Why come into corners too hot or take chances on decents when you can overcome everything, everyone with the push of a button!!!?

Would you seriously expect him to drop back before every corner and on every descent if he were using a motor? That behavior would convince you? But if he does not do that and even sometimes crashes then definitely no motor? Is that the logic? For real?

And I still never got the payroll report for why all these people are either doing UAE dirty work for free..or what is the method for payment agreements for all involved!!

Would you expect such payments be made in public before TV audience in gold coins or published weekly in WSJ? How many people know when, how much and for what you get paid on your job? Or anybody for that matter in this 100% transparent world? Do you believe that paying certain people without causing a lot of commotion and creating civil unrest is indeed more difficult than defying all physiological laws? Have been reading a lot of sci-fi lately?

I don't know what a flat climb is, but look at how other riders of similar weight to Pogacar placed in PR. They would literally need a motor to have any chance of staying with the bigger guys.

Usually heavier means more absolute power, but somehow Pogacar has more power than riders much heavier than him.

It's do close at the top, anybody using a small but significant bost should have an advantage.

Possibly. But I do recall after pulling off the first Giro-Tour double in 26 years on July 21 that Pogacar said he was empty or words to that effect. His next races after the Tour were in Canada on Sep 13 and 15 so he had some rest. He then went on to win the Worlds and GdL.

Why does Pog wants to win all the races?
How much does he want to win all the races?
At what cost does he want it? To what length?

What kind of human would that need? We already know Gianetti. And we already know that those behind him are fully capable of creating land where none existed. If you start with the kind of hybris Dubai is built upon (I'm not talking politics really, but rather what kind of brain is needed for it so please don't derail this into politics!) What I am saying is that the creation of Dubai, Gianetti, Ricci and Pog means a similar kind of thoughtmind. A country that stopped at no length, Gianetti that stopped at no length and Pog...

I just find it a very consistent pattern . It reminds me of Robert Sapolsky forest troop baboon study where the most agressive baboons in the troop killed themselves off with tubercolosis from 1983-to 86, becasue they ate contaminated food. Since they were selfish they didn't leave anything for the weaker baboons. The weaker baboons survived and the whole troop changed behaviour.

So I tend to think "what baboon brain would it take to do this or that?" And then the rest is easier to put in context.

I do see a definite difference from 2013 Ventoux considering Froome‘s cadence was 100 Trillion and seemed to correspond well with the speed of the bike. I don‘t get how people say that‘s the same as a suspiciously low cadence.

If it just gives him a set amount of extra watts on top of what he's already producing, then of course it makes sense, but even if it didn't then getting help from a motor for ten minutes before an attack, in order to get your heart rate down, would still give you a huge boost when you let it rip.

All true except the Pogoclown's gap in Fleche was growing a bit faster.
