After Pogacar's crash yesterday there is talk that he might have a reduced performance today. Traditionally, we have seen when a rider has a crash, that it can take a couple of days to get back to full capabilities.

My question is, even though he has suffered a crash, will his performance go down much or will the use of his motor offset any shortcomings from the crash. Or maybe they will increase the watt capabilities of the motor given the fact that he has bruising/road rash.

I think that's why he was so relaxed yeasterday about the bruises, he knows it's not going to affect the watts at all. Today we will see the VR5S for the first time since Dauphine and be prepared for the first super alien performance of this Tour.

I wouldn't know the difference in these bikes.
Would someone indicate here when the stage starts which bike he has chosen for today?

Good to see mountain goats like Tim Merlier dropping Skelmose and Evenepoel. Fully strapped if for a ridiculous acceleration now.
