Kessiakoff has already given an interview, he was at the training camp but didn't see Michele Ferrari. In fact he's never seen him or had any dealings with him.

Is there any information about which Astana riders were at that camp at Montecatini Terme in November last year? Was it for the whole team or only parts of it?

While I think Ferrari is FOS he made a very strong stand on not being in Montecatini. He knows there are supposedly photos.....knowing that he still said he was not there. Odd.

Today I heard 2nd hand from a person that was at the November camp. He said Ferrari was not there.

Very possible he was there but need to see the pic

The sad thing is that I'll watch next season to see how all of the doping plays out, and not for the races...In all sincerity, I can't find a positive internal reason I will do so, but I'll watch anyway...maybe I just like to watch car crashes or something?

The second stage of the ToC starts here next year...maybe I'll try to get on TV?

Go to the ToC. Only if you wear this t-shirt for me? I want to see you on TV!

i don't think they will get it either. UCI has come too far with their Astana juggernaut to back off now and not look seriously silly.

If Astana does not get the license, where does Nibali go? He will certainly leave, but at this point, the rosters are pretty much set. What teams can afford him at this point? Katusha?

Well no team is going to have spare budget even remotely close to entice Nibali. Two possibilities, one of Tinkov, Rihs, Bakala&Coucke or Makarov shells out some spare change or Nibali brings along a new sponsor to a team. Personally I think it's the second.

Bakala&Coucke no chance, same with Tinkov. Rihs and Makarov doubtful.

I'm not sure anyone else is (comfortably) rich enough ... interestingly the next best bet would be from IAM. I remember Thétaz trying to buy Cancellara a couple of years ago so presumably he could offer a similar deal with Nibali. Not sure he's going to be tempted though.

Won't he able to ride the tour or giro with wildcards? I know the giro will for sure give him one. Idk about the tour though

And now Kessiakoff quits the sport. 'I don't have the same motivation'

UCI clarifies: Licence Commission still awaiting information from CONI, but decision tomorrow

Although La Gazzetta quoted UCI President Brian Cookson as saying that documentation had been sent by the Italian Olympic Committee CONI, it appears that this may have been a mistranslation. A spokesperson for the governing body contacted CyclingTips to say that its Licence Commission is yet to acquire the requested information from CONI.

.............

According to the UCI spokesman, the Licence Commission will communicate its final decision to the UCI tomorrow. This will indicate whether or not it believes that the team should be given a WorldTour licence for 2015.

It is not clear if the documentation will be received in time for it to be considered. However if the Licence Commission is already leaning towards excluding the team, that documentation may not be necessary.

ok "I read on the internet" is something not to trust
but
a member of an italian forum I know, who trains with Nibali's Brother, said Nibali would not leave Astana if they don't get World Tour.

RCS/Gazzetta will invite Astana anyway

Dubai, Strade Bianche, Roma Maxima, Tirreno, Sanremo, Giro

and a visit to Etna(or Teide) between Sanremo and Giro

Wouldn't surprise me if he stayed with Astana, it'd be very difficult finding a decent deal that's at least similar to what he has now with Astana. They would easily get invites from RCS.

I just hope that Aru doesn't go to Sky if they don't get it.

Why? Wouldn't you love to see Arubot smashing AC and Nibali at the Giro while making 600W flat?

Of course, just not while wearing blue and black. ;) Plus it'd be nice if Froome was another one he was crushing with 600W on the flat.
