Lot os Sky fanboys here. König did at the Vuelta what he was told to do by the DS. Obviously they wanted him to stay high at GC while do some domestique work here and there. They even wanted him to go TT full gas even when his chances for GC were lost. So there you go.,If you want to blame someone, blame somebody who's responsible, not König.

You are not correct. He exactly said, that Dave Brailsford and DS asked him to "calm down and take it easy and save energy for Saturday" but he opossed and finally stated, that they "let" him drive full gas. Sorry.... .

Kenny's official, wonder if we might see another Voight/Ullrich next year at the tour.

Ellisonde for Giro, or for Tour team to get Frenchies on side?

Can't see that myself....Is Kenny going to be better than Poels , Henao ,Nieve or Thomas in the mountains ? Is he stronger than Stannard, Rowe or Kiry on the flat
Will he be better than Kwito/Landa or Kennaugh on the hills/flat
And what can he give to the TTT that would be better than any of the above

Kenny has gone in the wrong direction I am afarid ...lured astray by the bright shiny things

Yeah cos he and his family would starve if Kenny is not at SKY
Wonder how others riders on French teams or other teams survive :surprised:

I couldnlt care less where Kenny rides but anyone with an ounce of sense can see its not going to suit Kenny ..But hey you make into a 1930s depression movie script if you want to
Don't botter with actual debate

Re: Team Sky Discussion thread

More importantly, does he offer up any air resistance? :p

He's not exactly a rider you can sit behind, even on a climb.

And this is why, although there's seems to be no reason for Kenny to go to Sky apart from money, it's also baffling that Sky wanted him

Sergio Henao is pretty much same weight and same height yet seems useful enough.

You can't draft up the mountain guys, it's all about just having another wheel to follow.

Yes, he isn't exactly the thinnest guy, just look at his legs. Kenny on the other hand is built like a French Pozzovivo.

Rosa's apparently confirmed GT squads next year?

Giro-Landa, Poels, Rosa, Intxausti, Kiryienka, Seb Henao, Moscon, Puccio, Viviani

Tour-Froome, Thomas, Nieve, Henao, Poels, Ellisonde, Kwaitkowski, Rowe, Stannard

Vuelta-Froome, Landa, Intxausti, Rosa, Henao, Lopez, Kiryienka, Wisniowski, DVP.

Sky are clearly determined to make the start of hill climb girl an actual thing.

Kennaugh will ride a GT next year.

You don't seriously think Sky has determined who will ride which GT's next year? At most what will Froome do.

What is your source for this information?

If it's going to be something like this I hope Kwiato is in better shape than this year.

I think he has missed out a comma. It should read:

Rosa's apparently confirmed, GT squads next year?
