Lot os Sky fanboys here. König did at the Vuelta what he was told to do by the DS. Obviously they wanted him to stay high at GC while do some domestique work here and there. They even wanted him to go TT full gas even when his chances for GC were lost. So there you go.,If you want to blame someone, blame somebody who's responsible, not König.

You are not correct. He exactly said, that Dave Brailsford and DS asked him to "calm down and take it easy and save energy for Saturday" but he opossed and finally stated, that they "let" him drive full gas. Sorry.... .

Can't see that myself....Is Kenny going to be better than Poels , Henao ,Nieve or Thomas in the mountains ? Is he stronger than Stannard, Rowe or Kiry on the flat
Will he be better than Kwito/Landa or Kennaugh on the hills/flat
And what can he give to the TTT that would be better than any of the above

Kenny has gone in the wrong direction I am afarid ...lured astray by the bright shiny things

You can't draft up the mountain guys, it's all about just having another wheel to follow.
