Are Sky evil? They're just a TV company. Are you angry that you can't watch Game of Thrones for free?

The likes of the Sun, Fox News etc may have some common shareholders, but they're not Sky.

I do watch Game of Thrones without paying

But yeah, I hold Sky responsible for Fox News, News Corp, kickstarting the full commercialisation of football, and other things. which may not be entirely fair, but in any case, it's a massively powerful media conglomerate which automatically kind of makes them evil to me.

Moscon in an interview for Il Messaggero when asked about the Giro said that Thomas will be the leader, i think Thomas himself is the only one convinced that he won't ride in may :D

Other than that he said that he'll be the leader at Strade Bianche and cobbles classics whereas he didn't know the pecking order for Tirreno but the route suit him, after Roubaix he'll go to Tirol instead of Ardennes.
At the Giro his target will be the time trials and trying to grab the pink jersey in the first week (he said that also the uphill sprint in L'Aquila could be good for him) before shifting to domestique role.

So a few developments on Team Ineos today.

The Cycling Podcast just about confirmed Team Sky have been saved by Ineos as new sponsor and the teamineos.com domain name was registered just last week and popped up into WHOIS now and is registered to a INEOS rather than a domain squatter so looks either coincidence or suggestive the sponsor is moving forward at least.

Sir Dave is obviously still committed to moving the sport forward into the 21st century, good on him. Also great to see that sponsors are out there...even in so-called "non-traditional" countries.

So where are these monied sponsors for all the other teams? One team having twice or more the budget of basically every other team out there is not good for the sport.

If Sir Dave can find a sponsor, what is stopping the other teams from doing so? He is obviously smarter than those in charge of some of the other teams, but he is also interested in moving the sport forward while some prefer staying in the past.

If other teams CANNOT find sponsors with the SAME deep pockets Sky has it will do NOTHING but HURT the sport. You can't move forward when no one else can compete. The ONLY thing you accomplish is destroying the sport. The sponsors are NOT out there. It's just that simple. The best thing the UCI can do is put a HARD 20 million budget cap on the teams.

You can't be serious, can you? So it's only a matter of being a genius? Interesting.

The "Ineos Train" will be drilling it for 2020

https://www.bbc.com/sport/cycling/47608625

should be interesting to see the new kit, if they stick with Pinarello ? etc. etc..

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/pinarello-to-support-team-sky-beyond-2019/

in december :Fausto Pinarello - the CEO of Pinarello, revealed to Cyclingnews that he had also been contacted by people interested in taking over sponsorship in 2020. He gave his full support to Brailsford, rather than look for alternative teams for his bikes.

Do British subjects/citizens feel obligated to refer to him and others that have been anointed as such as "Sir Dave" or is that just a personal choice?

Looks like Comcast is finding a way to get out of likely paying for this entire season as well. As they found a sponsor for next year they are not paying anything next year. They said they would not pay contracts next year if a new sponsor wasn't found. Why am I not surprised Comcast has a found a way to get out of even paying for this entire year.
