Yes, agree on Hesjedal. He shows no signs at all of doping. He's an older style rider, like a VW diesel rabbit. None of these mad, high octane accelerations, sprinting up hills.

Floyd was never Amish from what I understand. You might want to check that at the door.
Wiggins just wants this more than the rest of the general classification cyclist and has been focused training just for this tour.
guess you are right with your Lance signature:eek:

Yes, and from those posts we have gleamed that he is not in any way to be trusted.

For example, in late 2007 the rumour was that he was signing with Astana. He posted yelling like a madman at everyone that "what kind of person do you think I am?" and that he'd never be associated with those dopers.

3 days later he was officially announced as an Astana rider.

Clearly someone you can trust

I’ll add one more comment in regards to dopers. When looking for a team they don’t go looking for a team they go looking for a team with a “program”. Jani knows where to find his next team. Sky. He’d be the perfect dom and small race winner for them. He knows that. Heck he even out climbed Contador in 2010. He knows how he can respond when needed.

I have another thought.

Cancellara has worked really hard to keep in yellow, he wasnt on form today because he is feeling the effect of that?
Cancellara is not on top form because he's coming out of an injury and peaking for the Olympics. I know some people have said "OMG they beat Cancellara!" as an argument for Wiggo and especially Froome being doped, but personally I think Cancellara is largely irrelevant here.

Cance gracious in defeat :

"When you see how Sky was born and how they are performing now – better and better – it shows that they've been working really hard. That's normal. It's the same as when we saw Tony Martin becoming better and better at time trialling; it's just a demonstration that the whole team is growing.

"They have a hard Tour de France now for sure because Bradley has said they will not throw it (the yellow jersey) away or give it away, but now there are hard mountain stages and yeah, I think we will see them pulling a lot."

Some reactions from riders ??

Some pros say things like this

http://www.nieuwsblad.be/Article/Detail.aspx?articleid=DMF20120709_158

[Montfort]

[...] "Wiggins and Froome are guys from a different planet and I shouldn't compare myself to them"

"that I lose so much time to someone like Wiggins, that's something you know beforehand. He is 'hors de categorie.'

[Montfort]

[Van den Broeck]

It’s funny how the riders have coded speak. Whenever a rider mentions “ET” or “from another planet” they all know what it means. I get the sense that the feeling of discontentment will rise with each performance. Everyone wants a fair fight and once the rest of the peloton realize they’re not getting a fair fight they’ll start saying things. Is Wiggins going to tell them to go **** themselves as well?

yeah, but I do think that there were some pretty good gaps from Wiggins back to Chavanel etc.

I am just curious to see what numbers Froome produced for 52 minutes compared to his 406 watts for an hour from Salamanca last year.

Yeah. Maybe. You can find individual rationalisations for individual bits of Sky shredding the peloton, but taken in total, it's ridiculous.

I'm done with cycling for a while if we're back to the US Postal days. I almost stopped watching the Tour back then in frustration. I really thought things were improving until now.

wow! press the right buttons and reveal blind Nationalism! it always, always works......post infrequently for best results

ps, I think you'll find I'm a fanboy of the Miguel Madariaga's team - although that's forgiven as you have spotted who's the governor....

Another trolling fanboy from the UK jumps aboard. Welcome governor!

Cricket and tennis are not pure endurance sports. Nice try there with the doping angle. They have a technical component that cannot be fudged, procured from a pill, syringe or blood bag. You're either born with it or you aren't.

Also, who hasn't said the Aussies are doping? Honestly does nobody actually read the thread? It says team Sky. There are Aussies on team Sky. They were the first ones called out you muppet by the Aussies. Have the Brits called out Wiggins or Froome? My bad, we'd need a Kenyan switched nationality or a Belgian born Brit to do that wouldn't we?;)

uMad bro? Keep trolling.

Oh, I definitely agree with you guys. It was still silly. I just don't think focusing on Cancellara is good.

Froome Wiggins and his men from another planet LOL according to google translation

Monfort was on the late night talk show 'Vive le Velo' on Flemish television and pointed towards the training methods & material, also stating that they are not doped due to the biological passport. So he denies doping is involved.
