Claasic Brailsford, "Lets start with the the big question first" he begins and then avoids it completely.

They asked whether he would be joining, not whether Dave would like to sign him.

Thats his answer on Cav?

Lets start with the the big question first!! Every team out there would love to sign Mark Cavendish and we are no different!! He proved again at the weekend that he is a one in a generation rider.

Pffft

15 minutes in, only two questions answered. This is not up to usual sky standards. Im wondering if they have technical issues, or if DB just cant type very quickly

I think they must have been taken by surprise with that Cavendish question. Couldn't have seen that one coming.

He's very vague / PR-ish with his answers. Is it really so hard to take a light-hearted guess at when a British rider might win Roubaix or the Ronde? Somebody should remind him these are the fans not the press.

OK, an almost interesting answer, "One of the biggest challenges we used to face as GB Team was getting the riders' pro teams to align the riders goals and give them the optimal race programme to try and achieve those goals. As we now oversee both sides we can do this"

Does that mean he's going to be overseeing the Road Race favourite's race programme?

On a totally different note I also like to think we are showing that you can win big bike races clean - that is a very important aspect for me.

Well, I suppose that's a reasonably straight statement of intent. Not many team bosses would be say something as risky as that. :)

Boassen Hagen, Porte, G, Wiggins, Cav? Froome, Can you have too much talent?

DB:-
Hi Steve, I think it depends on what type of talent - the key is to have complimentary talents and not all riders with the same qualities. If this is achieved we can build a truly world class team and that is the goal.

So he didnt say Cav WASNT there ;)

You lost your apostrophe. Once again the answer didn't say anything, although in this case it's probably because it's not his place to say it.
