it's just weird that you're not also posting in the thread for the guy who's a 37 year old former classics rider and is now the 2nd best climber in the Giro after being hot garbage all season. seems like there's some kind of bias at work here to me.

Thomas never did a superhuman TT anywhere close to freaks like Dumoulin (Bergen 2017), Alaphilippe (Stage 13 Pau 2019 ), Pogacar (Belles Filles 2020) or Roglic (Tokyo 2021).

It's not hard to spot the cheats.

The gap between Thomas in 2nd place and Arensman in 8th place was less than the gap between Roglic and Thomas.

That's completely believable from world-class time trialler and climber Thomas to have six riders within 38 seconds of him. (Almeida, Caruso, Pinot, Kuss, McNulty and Arensman)

Roglic's performance today and in Tokyo are clear outliers and obviously dodgy. (like the other examples, it's not hard to spot them)

Look stop being dumb. Jumbo clearly have the dodgiest team in cycling history last few years (I mean they used to be a cool team, but not now). Close competitors are UAE and Bahrain, but Jumbo really are taking the piss with some of the ridiculous riders they have.

Yes, that was nothing like the obvious cheating of Roglic and Pogacar recently. Froome won by 29 seconds over another good climber Quintana, and Froome had by FAR THE BETTER DOMESTIQUES helping him up the climb.

You see, Froome had the best team ever assembled in history, and won just by 29 seconds. Froome never won more than a bronze at Olympics and Worlds TT.

You need to cheat to win by over a minute against a world class field, like several of Jumbo's riders have done. UAE also suspect.

the peloton let Quintana go up the road at the start of the climb. Froome then obliterated the most talented rider of a generation off of his wheel with the most ridiculous seated acceleration anyone has ever seen.

The problem with your argument is the proximity of the words "world-class" "climber" "Thomas" and "believable" is such a ludicrous starting premise in and of itself.

Your statement about Roglič would meet with little opposition if not preceded by attempts to legitimise even more dubious performances.

Tthis MTT didn't seem overly impressive in terms of performance/result compared to some other numbers we have been seeing? No sure if we have good power numbers, but from what i saw, the first part (steepest part), where Kus was apparently the fastest, was estimated at 6,1W/kg.
