then mentioning his gluten free diet when they explain how his stamina has gone from 'the reason why he never beat guys like federer and nadal' to 'the reason why he's dominating men's tennis'.

robow7 said:Andynonomous you make some nice points but I would mention that your stats are thrown slightly off with Agassi in the equation because his second life definitely came about with Gil's mysterious shakes.
Andynonomous said:I am sure that doping was going on in tennis before the Murray/Djokovic/Nadal era. Certainly Agassi and others were using anabolics, but today's tennis players have gone beyond that and are clearly using HGH/IGF-1, EPO/Autologous Blood Doping and other substances that previous generations players didn't use. The game has become MUCH more physical, and the players are competitive at an older age.

Courier was a "grinder", much like the Spaniards, Argentinians, and Muster were in the 90s.
This in itself isn't strong evidence that he was doping, but my guess is that it was better than a 50/50 chance that he was.

Curious to hear your take on John Mcenroe (sp?) claim that Kygrios will be run out of the sport if he doesn't clean up his act.
Funny that the statement comes from the notorious bad boy of tennis. But I'm just wondering how the guy could be run out of the sport. How would that happen?
the delgados said:Kygrious is a kid who is pretty good at playing tennis.
I'm more curious about the remark made by John M. Leaving aside the name, I'm curious how someone is "run out of the sport."
