Same time last year, Cam Meyer had accumulated 419 points.
"Great", I thought, with the whole season still to come.
He ended up with a total of 456.

Of course, Gerrans isn't Meyer, but it does served to show how the TDU can be an early gold mine for Aussie riders and not necessarily a sign of things to come.

I'd guess Pauwels was on a lot of folks "filler" lists. Certainly was on mine. Almost my last cut.

Very happy with Jack Bauers performance. He scored 55 points in the TDU, which is half of the total points he scored last year. that looks promising.

I am not entirely convinced he has the acceleration to beat some of the really big sprinters and I'm possibly regretting selecting him for my team.

GreenEdge were always going to ride for Gerrans. No surprise there. CLarke has yet to really prove himself even though I think he will be a very good rider in the future.
