Was on my long shortlist for ages. Will be interesting to see how big a profit he can pull.

Same time last year, Cam Meyer had accumulated 419 points.
"Great", I thought, with the whole season still to come.
He ended up with a total of 456.

Of course, Gerrans isn't Meyer, but it does served to show how the TDU can be an early gold mine for Aussie riders and not necessarily a sign of things to come.

I'd guess Pauwels was on a lot of folks "filler" lists. Certainly was on mine. Almost my last cut.

Having seen Pauwels lame efforts for sky the last couple of years i steered clear but maybe he'll turn out to be good. I considered another sky flop in Davide Vigano but thought better of it.

Also I'm one of the few without Tom Boonen by the looks of it so I'm kind of anxious of what will happen with him and could find myself ****ed in the spring.

How lame of Pauwels of having injuries

Only 321 more points for Gerrans to break even. He will have a good season ( cq wise )

A bit worried about Clarkes' chances now that GE want to ride for Gerrans at LBL/ AGR. They could at least give him a co-leadership position.

Rogers is looking in good form. He could end up winning a one week stage race indicative of his form.

GreenEdge were always going to ride for Gerrans. No surprise there. CLarke has yet to really prove himself even though I think he will be a very good rider in the future.

My faith in him has been restored.

By coming second to Greipel? Yes he did well
