I think there's too many chiefs at BMC for Phinney to get many chances of his own, I considered him but suspect he'll have another season working for leaders.

He might not get many chances at big races, but at small tours like Eneco or Tour de Romandie he will get lots more chances.

I regret picking Pinot.

Machado, Kreuziger would have been much better, I suppose. Pinot's schedule will include mostly World Tour events this year. At least, that's the plan. He may not break even...

I think his schedule is a good one for CQ, it seems FDJ want him to hold solid form for a long time in the early part of the season for lots of one week WT races, rather than peaking for a GT, with a potential peak for the Dauphine where others will be off peak. after this he will build for the Vuelta.

Other things in his favour for CQ is he will race always as a leader, and only 20 or so people have him, so a good season for him will have more impact for your team in the rankings than a good season for Kreuiziger, who's on 50 or so teams, would have done. (the downside of course is if Kreuiziger has a stella season, it would make your regret all the more intense)

I had to decide of the two riders on 221 Monsalve or Jeannesson would score more. If I had realised the Rubiano had signed for Androni I would have gone for the frenchman instead.

Chtioui, Hoste and Vaugrenard for Marseille/Etoile for me. Optimistic about Vaugrenard doing well with the uphill TT on the last stage.

Yeah Jeannesson :) Also way to go Viavani!

Not exactly the wisest of picks in fact as he is very probably going to focus entirely on the omnium for the olympic track after paris-nice.
There seems to be so many riders who have been picked yet are focusing on olympic track, whether they will get enough early season points i highly doubt.

Yet on the plus side there will certainly be a couple of riders for next season who will be certain, easy picks due to their focus on the track this year. I can already think of three that unless something terrible happens will certainly be in my team next year.

Just to nitpick but on the CQgame website would it make more sense to change the link "Top Picks" to "Popular Picks"? Top seems to be a bit misleading to me, could mean best picks in terms of points ratio etc.

Had a chance for a nice start from Sarmiento...

He could have been 10th in the overall but he had some injuries in yesterday's stage. Hopefully nothing too serious.

But at least Boonen scored something today.

Yup. But I also saw the word 'possible' in there, so I'm hoping not. Also about some facial injuries. He wasn't expensive, I was just hoping a big turnout from him.

Pinot is a big talent ( hopefully he can pull through and continue to develop ).

Here is to hoping Kreuziger can have a good season ( i think he could podium the Giro )
