I have Velits, Nibles, Ciolek and Porte ... so hopefully done ok this week

:D

Picked up some good points from the Oman overall: Velits, Jeannesson, Slagter, and Navardaukas all in the top ten :D

I had about a good a week as I could expect in February, winning Oman (Velits), Laigueglia (Moser) and Algarve (Porte), with a 5th, 7th and 8th in the latter race from Costa, Van Garderen and Talansky. Looks like a few folks had a good week too, though, so we'll see what that means for the standings.

My hapyness at Porte winning has been quickly dampened by mosers win. WTF I stuck as many Italian 20 year olds into my team as I could fit and its a different one that comes up with the goods.

Haha, I knew I forgot to suggest a certain Italian to you. Oh well, at least you earned some points with Trentin, or didn't you take him as well?

The Cobra has Tiernan-Lock. Nice job! ;)

And i'm one of the guys who doesn't have Velits. I will surely lose some positions in the ranking after this week, despite of having Porte, Vandenbroeck and Ciolek.

I considered Moser but he didnt have any pro results just u23 ones and a lot of the guys I was considering beat him in the u23 races - Cattaneo, Battaglin. Winner Ancona, Fabio Aru, Salvatore Puccio

Its difficult to guess how u23 riders will do on transition, and I ddnt even put those guys in my final team other than Enrico

JTL was a unique pick by the Cobra, so he's cleaning up on that front.

As far as Velits, yes he's the 2nd most popular pick, but even though 93 teams have him, there are 130 teams in the competition, so 37 do not.

I would certainly prefer to be in the Cobra's position, celebrating a unique pick, but I'll be stoked for Velits' win nonetheless.

edit: didn't notice the post that had already pointed out who had picked JTL, oops.

Watch JTL be a popular pick amongst everybody's teams next year.

I had some good guys on the races that finished this week but didn't score as much as I wanted to.

You can still move up ( with Porte ). Besides you only have 4 ( i was under the impression you would have had heaps )

The way he is going he might be too expensive:D. Also the change in approach ( WT team might take a while for him to adjust to )

I should have kept Slagter in my team. I dropped him for the much more expensive Baugnies, who has been invisible so far.

Also seriously considered Nibali and as he seems to TT and climb well this year, he'll surely make a profit. The same goes for Navardauskas, who might surprise many.

I didn't consider Moreno Moser, Porte or Tiernan-Locke, so not having them on my team hurts a lot less.
