I was lumbered with Goss in the First Cycling-fantasy last year, so I stayed far away from him here even though he'll do well NOT to gather more points than last year.
However, I think it makes total sense for Goss not to contest the sprints against the big boys in Dubai where he might get a top 10-15 at best - rather keep his powder dry for smaller races and start building confidence through wins there. Although it's great for ONE to be invited to these start of season-shindigs in the Middle East, I would assume their main objectives for the year still are to do well in Tour of Yorkshire/Britain.
