Sbaragli has three wins at .2 level, two from 2012 and one from 2013.

I'm not sure what the longest streak from turning pro is, but the longest I have found is Jempy Drucker. Until he won the Ride London - Surrey Classic this year he had 74 consecutive top tens at .1 and above races without a win. Sbaragli still has some way to go.

Sbaragli has won a .2 race in his first year as a pro too, a stage in the Tour of Korea.
I'm following this guy closely on social networks. He strikes me as a very combative guy, so I think sooner or later a win will come.

Ah, yeah, should have checked for .2 races. I think Sbaragli won't win this season but by next season he should!

He could win something this season: this thread.

Sbaragli felt the breath of Marcato on his back so he added another top10. I wonder what this guy could do in a team that's a bit more dedicated to him...

Now it seems that he came in 15 minutes down with the van Poppels and Ewan. Bike change?

Still 6th on the official classification. He's probably my favorite rider at the moment.

True. Thanks. The CN site for some reason put him 15mins down on stage 3 and his GC position today is also in agreement with that.

However, on the official site, everything is in agreement with him finishing 6th yesterday (and Richeze in 5th) which seems much more likely than Reguigui in 6th (and Oliveira in 5th).

Who is CN's source for results then? I can understand that they might have been the unofficial results yesterday. But why has the mistake propagated onto today's GC standings?

That's nothing by the standards of CN's results service. They till think that Songezo Jim (rather than teammate Louis Meinjes) came 14th on stage 2, and ignored the 15 minutes plus that he lost on stage three, and still have him within a minute and a half of Chaves. They were apparently thrown by some bike swaps after the crash that caused Nibali's problems, but they still have MTN mightily mixed up. I think they are giving Meintjes' times to Jim, Jim's to Sbaragli, and Sbaragli's to Meintjes.

Makes it damned difficult to use their data for the CQ game.

Re: The Amazing Race to Most Top10 Without a win - 2015 Edit

It looks like it's gonna be between Sbaragli and Marcato as both scored Top 10s yesterday. Marcato netting a 2nd place in Druivenkoers - Overijse and Sbaragli replying immediately with a 6th place in the Vuelta, noting that Marcato came 2nd to his teammate Baugnies, the latter obviously helping the former with his 2nd place, as Wanty are now eyeing to win this competition with Marcato.

Ah but Benoot had a top 10 in the same race.

If it's a stage race, it should have stage winners. Let's say one stage per month. Here are this year's stage winners so far (in case of a tie I have given it to the rider with the most second places):

Stage 1: January - D. Impey (5)
Stage 2: February - P. Sagan (9)
Stage 3: March - R. Uran (9)
Stage 4: April - Ser. Henao (7)
Stage 5: May - S. Kruijswijk (9)
Stage 6: June - Y. Lampaert (8)
Stage 7: July - P. Sagan (11)

In stage 8, Marcato is currently leading and likely to take it out. From tomorrow, everyone has a new chance again to win a stage.
