From the OP of the thread, Caruso got 30 in 2014. I don’t know how far back into the sands of time and archives of L’Equipe and Gazzetta that research has gone to determine a true all-time list.

2014 is as far back as I've gone. Pozzovivo was on 25 after the Italian nationals but only had 2 more race days for the rest of the year and dropped to 4th.

Even though I'm happy for him, I'm also a bit disappointed with Coquard. But if you have to go out eventually, it's obviously better to do it early on instead of going nuclear when your name is already written on the trophy, like Almeida did.
