Ah...i'm too lazy to put the pictures with all my seven cats...
1. Sash is fat and fluffy, he looks like he doesn't have feets, which makes his movement very awkard to see, but he moves only two times a day, short distances, eat and drop.
2. Cindy is old and skinny, does not pay attention to anybody.
3. Desi is a cute cat, but is psychopath; she breaks anything finds in her way, just likes to see things falling down and breaking, or just falling...i remember last summer, i haved on the desk a plate full of cherries...quickly spotted by the little monster...grabed one by one moving like a hockey stick and throw them on the floor, with a fascinated look during the fall; also loves to push cups and glasses on the floor, but only if they are filled, or else there is no fun; doesn't support any other creature, human or cat, or anything else, keeps the distance producing creepy sounds and adopting an offensive stance ready to jump aiming the eyes.
4. Oteea is heavy, pretty noisy, but a good mother, she still cares about the little ones, although they are not little anymore, having almost a half of year.
5. Ferman is the lover of Oteea, looks like a black panther and moews in a way that seems like an angry muslim, i don't find a better way to describe.
6. Piti (aka Ferman the II) is Oteea and Ferman son, looking and acting exactly like his father.
7. Plushenko, i've found this name cause he looks like the russian skater, gracious and blonde, also plush means somethng that is fluffy in my language.

We've got 2 and a half cats.......

Tonks - gorgeous wee tortie, we think she was a bit mistreated before we got her and she's a wee bit timid. Loves cuddles but only on HER terms. Very Matriarchal, she rules the roost!!

Siruis - see the pic .... The ASBO Cat, he is nuts bounces around evrywhere like he's wearing a set of hob nailed boots. He's a pure black cat who has mischief oozing out of his eyes. He's also very lovable and loves cuddles, if you don't bend to his way immediatly prepare for scratching. Knows that Tonks is the boss!

The Half - Mr Ollivander is 5 weeks old and we'll get him in another three weeks or so, little gray and white chap, he was very inquisitive when we went to pick him out and of the three he was the one who seemed to want to play.

If I knew how to put up piccys I would...help!! - 1 added hopefully..... Sorted!!

All of ours have come from Cats Protection in the UK. My wife does a whole heap of work for them

That looks like around here. We will be sitting on the sofa, Kitty will jump on our laps and glare at us until we put our feet up on the coffee table for her tos stretch out on our legs.

My computer is in the living room, and I type with the keyboard on my lap. Both Kitty and keyboard don't fit. You can guess who loses that battle ---- the keyboard.

this is Beck. he is a large cat, eats like Garfield, is as shy as they come...but he always wants to be close to the party.:)

That's a nice cat. I don't have a cat per se, but I've been feeding an orange tabby stray for the last few years. Strange cat, as it is caught somewhere between a wild cat and a domestic one. It's a good mouser, but I've been told it comes naturally to tabbies.

My husband and I went for a walk last night, and Kitty accompanied us. she always trots grimly about 10 feet behind us, looking as if she knows we are totally incapable of taking care of ourselves.

She proved it this time, too. We were innocently walking along when a jogger approached! Kitty stood in the middle of the path, arched her back, with her tail all fluffed up, making herself as big and dangerous lookign as possible.

She was defending us from the jogger!

It worked, we arrived home safely. Thanks, Kitty, who knows what might have happened without you!

I have seen this before and always wondered how people get their cats to follow them while walking. What stops them from stepping off the path to take a snooze?

WE don't "get" her to do it, she does it voluntarily.

We are convinced she thinks he has to take care of us, that we will get lost or something without her. And after all, what would she do if we didn't make it back home? Who would open all those little cans of disgusting smelling food?

We are too valuable to be allowed to wander off on our own, I guess.

Sorry to bring the happy vibe of the thread to a crashing halt but tomorrow I have to take my best friend to the vet for euthanization. She's almost 19yrs old and developing some fairly serious kidney problems so I think it's time. I cannot overstate how much this is going to suck. I guess I wanted to post this to make sure that you all appreciate your animal friends and the bond you have with them. Give them a squeeze or a big piece of fish or just take a minute from your hectic lives to think about how much they give and how little they ask in return.
