Make me laugh seeing how people keep talking of Moscon as if he was a serial killer or a war criminal.

What more does he need to do to deserve being talked about as if he isn't a nice person, since we're not there already?

Can't imagine how mad some people in the forum must be. The guy is crazy but an incredible talent.
Really? Why on earth would you get all fired up because he won some relatively insignificant end of season races even if you don't like the guy?
The guy doesn't race for months, comes back and wins 2 out of the 3 races he participates in. Pretty impressive. Also considering that he has shown to be a better climber than Pozzovivo and Bardet on Monte Serra.

Courtesy @ammattipyoraily: Monte Serra (last 6.50 km, 7.91 %, 514 m), Moscon, Bardet, Pozzovivo, 17 min 46 sec, 21.95 Kph, VAM 1736 m/h, 6.22 W/kg.

There are about 20 others but undoubtedly Moscon is one of the main candidates for the win.

How can Pozzovivo have same time, he caught them on the descent?

Besides Moscon coming across as a despicable person, it would be a shame to see the rainbow jersey as another slave in the Sky mountain train.
Pretty much.

Poels winning would do nothing but annoy me

I just don't get why that should make anyone mad. No one's ever denied the guy's talent. I could see people being upset if won World's but him winning a couple of small races shouldn't upset anyone.

Great performance today as well, third behind Lobato and Colbrelli

Is that a “great performance”? I mean clearly he’s in form and he was there to contest the finish, but where would we expect him to finish on that situation with a merely good performance or a mediocre one? It’s not like he was beating a field of top uphill sprinters. Third there seems about par for the course for an in form Moscon.

I understand Cassani wants him to be at his best for the RR, but with his form he could've even snatched a podium today. Meh decision.

It can't possibly be more annoying than Poels winning because someone else has a mechanical like LBL 2016

Anyone else think Moscon found another level to his performances since Tour? The fact he almost made it with the trio is frankly ridiculous.

Will be super interesting what he does in classics next year, this year he was often close to making final groups but usually missed out.

The problem in Innsbruck he didn't have anyone to punch badly enough or he could've stayed with Piti & co.
He's gonna win big though. And he's gonna win big soon.

I don't think is a lot different from his level of last fall, in the Vuelta he destroyed the field on double digit gradients, on the Comella and Cumbre del Sol Froome had to ask to him to ease the pace because was too much, it's more surprising that he doesn't take a tow, racially abuse or assualt someone

Anyway was this spring that was very bad compared with his standards but i think it's something physiological considering he had a broken arm during the winter with consequent bad preparation and extra weight he had to carry, and add to this the Reichembach case.

At the Tour is difficult to understand what really was his level since he was used in the first half of the stages to control the break with Rowe and not in decisive moments.

Nothing surprising about Moscon's performance - Was always going to find the last climb a step too far - He has one or two big wins in his locker.

Moscon is strong, he can only get better especially under Sky guidance. WCRR performance was expected, on a slightly shorter course, slightly lower final gradient and with Vuelta as a prep race he could have fight for the win. One of the favorites for Lombardia this year.

Yeah, it was quite puzzling why he was so bad last year in those races. He could win anything from Omloop to Liege.

Maybe, if he improves. Not at his current level. How many riders are at their best in the fall?

I doubt that riders like Bardet and Alaphilippe reached their best form last weekend.

Will he participate in Il Lombardia?
Tomorrow he will ride the nationals TT (yes, it's now), and then probably Giro dell'Emilia and Lombardia. Don't know about GP Beghelli, Tre Valli Varesine and Milano Torino.
