You have no idea of other peoples circumstances. What an absurd statement.
Annemiek van Vleuten laughs with your day.Mate. You have no idea of the day I had yesterday.
I spent 6 hours travelling from and to work which normally takes 45 min. Including a 7km part I had to walk. I was dead. I needed my night rest. Thanks.
At first I also was thinking about 5am, but I don't think I'll miss much if I start watching at 6am. They'll go hard from the beginning, but I don't think we'll have a situation like last year, where we'll have great riders going away +200km before the finish. More likely that they'll just go hard, and each round some riders will be dropped, and we'll get some attacks in the last 60-100km's.When are people waking up tomorrow? Im thinking somewhere in the ballpark of 5-6am should be decent enough, maybe a bit earlier. Don't think I care enough to watch the whole thing, even though I would under normal circumstances..
I woke up and saw there was 3km to go and watched only that!
I don't think I will even watch 3km of men's tomorrow because I'm visiting a friend and will be in bed after a Saturday night. I'm gonna wake up and find out that Van aert won
How does WVA play it tomorrow? Today showed how difficult a smaller group is to control when you are best sprinter and there are groups coming up from behind. Kopecky had the world championship in her grasp in that last 3km but had no control over a late attack. Does he just hope for a kopecky type situation and jump on the wheel of any late attacker? Or does he try and go solo on the last climb (similar to Calais)
For American east coast viewing the race is 8pm Saturday night to 3am if I have done the math correctly.
He ain't going nowhere without Van Der Poel. He can gap tiny climbers, but let's if he can do that against classic specialists. If Remco gets a gap of 50 to a 100 meters tomorrow, there is a big chance he is World Champion. And his explosivity is improved so it should be easier for him to get a gap.
Maybe not the Aussies. G'day mate.Thankfully next years worlds will be held at a far more suitable location & time for everyone.
Maybe not the Aussies. G'day mate.
Van der Poel would be an excellent companion to attack with from far out. He will commit fully and ride 100%. Then Evenepoel can easily drop him in the final lap, considering Evenepoel, unlike Van der Poel, doesn't fade away after a long range attack. It would be a much bigger problem if Pogacar joined him. He's not going to drop Pogacar 1v1 and he's not going to outsprint him either. He ain't going nowhere without Van Der Poel. He can gap tiny climbers, but let's if he can do that against classic specialists.
Biniam winning would be awesome. The men’s RR will likely end in a late attacking group, with my prediction Biniam Girmay will put on the rainbow stripes at the end of the day.
No doubt that some riders struggle with the extra distance especially if its raced hard.
Genius to get dropped
