That rider with the loose shoe strings needs to ride to just before the top of the 2nd climb then stop jump off and properly retie his shoes then jump back on sprint over the top after the short rest be able to get over the top with a faster speed than the Peloton losing the least amount of time.

The Belgian team knew WvA can’t beat mvdp in the race, so they came up with a cunning masterplan hiring 2 Australian teenagers to take out MvdP, and later in the race the magpies will come in and take out some of the other favourites.
Spoiler alert: pogacar will hit a crossing kangooroo.
