Looking at his cornernig, he might've been the fastest on the straights today

I have a hard time imagining a scenario where he wouldn't have regretted his choice. With this hill, he would always have been the biggest favourite.

The only thing is I think with Hayter's dropped chain, the Brit could sincerely have challenged him for the win,
