Lol, I have 19. Moreno 20. Ulissi; now it's 19. De Greef 20. Moreno + 39" 21. Ulissi + 2'26". I need Moreno to ride the TT of his life or to be crushed by Ulissi (De Greef collapsing would be even better) :D

Cunego now exactly in 6th (didn't expect that) and Pozzovivo in 8th. Oh, and Dupont in 16th. Dupont looks safe, Pozzovivo just needs to beat Nieve and Gadret (who can't TT at all), Cunego might pass Basso or get caught by Uran, but I think I'm safe at this stage, unless the TT produces some very, very strange results. Min. 19 points, max. 24,5, 21 likely.

I have absolutely noone in the right spot and still equal 19,5. I'll be p!ssed if I don't qualify.

Ok guys, seems i missed the only true stage of this giro
Was in the sun the whole day. I´ll do provisionals at night, when watching the short replay on ESP.

Hats up again to those who picked De Gendt...

OK, thanks, nice job. ;)

Anyway, we´ll see after tomorrow. Have three guys juuussttt next to the right spot... and they are managable. Cunego needs to drop one, Henao to move up one vs. Gadret and Scarponi to drop one vs. De Gendt. :D

I guess Dekker, Wilco, cycladian & Ruud see it a little different. ;)

P.S.: Since no one will open an "De Greef appreciation thread", i do it here. Thank you De Greef, fantastic ride into the Top-20. One of my two sleepers really worked out. :) I know all eyes will be on De Gendt. But this other belgian deserves some applause too.

Just analyzing if i can still drop a large number of points tomorrow due to GC shifts, which doesn't seem to be the case.
There is only one guy exactly right on GC for me, and that's Nieve. he has 47 seconds to Gadret , 1:24 to Henao and then 5+ minutes to Cataldo. Other than that my top 30 placers are safe (Stetina + Szmyd with a 12 min. gap to the nr. 31 Rohregger) and my lowest top 20 placer is Dupont with 16 min. to the number 21 Ulissi so safe as well.

Now let's hope for some freak performance so that people won't score stage points tomorrow and i should be good going into the TdF.

Very nice analysis, but keep in mind that players below you could score more points if hitting some riders right on the spot. So the danger doesn´t only come from a stage win pick. Anyway, a 2 point cushion to the final wild card qualifier seems pretty much safe.

Certainly hope so. This game running in the background has made this admittedly lackluster Giro a whole lot more exciting. We will see tomorrow if i get to live to fight another day!

Absolutely right. If not for this game, i´d have fallen asleep or not even bother to watch anymore. One good stage in 21 is just disgusting.

Looks like I should just scrape through. Better to have the crazy GT at the start, all normal in the Tour please.

I´ll post unofficial final standings ASAP.

The official final standings will take a while since i have to apply the tie breakers and search for possible errors. Good luck to all. :)

by my calculation scarponi and jrod has gotten me two more points today, with thomas half a point.

Pretty sure pozzovivo held onto 8th also. Not sure if i lose points elsewhere, but I should be +20.

Hopefully this is enough.

Nobody picked Hesjedal to win the Giro, I guess that's what you call a surprise winner...

I'm so unfamiliar with the game, I can't calculate anything!
I did get the winner, today, but no idea how the GC thingy works.

Seems I only had 1 rider in the correct place, but 5 or 6 just one place out.
Checking the rules, I think about 15 points, but I'm probably wrong.

Anyhow, I don't expect to be Touring, next month.:(

So. I don't think I gained or lost anything today from gc. But Pinotti made me one unexpected point :p
