However, Radsport-News believes that the most likely scenario is that Brenner signs a professional contract and will then run the U23 race on a breeding team in 2021.

This part is not well translated. Here is the original article:

There they say: "Nach Informationen von radsport-news.com ist denkbar, dass Brenner zwar bei einem WorldTour-Team unterschreibt, dort aber im Nachwuchsteam zum Einsatz kommt. "

That means it is possible/imaginable from their information that Brenner signs with a World Tour team and rides at their youth team firstly. They dont' say that this is the most likely scenario. A sentence earlier they say: "Ob er damit wie etwa Remco Evenepoel die U23-Klasse überspringt, ist allerdings noch offen. " which means that it's completely open if he skips the u23-class just like Evenepoel did.

" which means that teams like Jumbo or Bora have such a junior team. Bora is not having a team in the u23-class but in the u19-class with Auto Eder for which Brenner rides at the moment. So nothing is imminent or very likely but they try to show that a move to Bora is a logical possibility.

Bora looks a solid team for him, but Brenner is also half Italian and wanted to ride his junior years for an Italian team (which was somehow forbidden). "Italian" teams like Trek or UAE might be other options.

Crowned himself champion of Germany in the cross as well, despite a false start and a problem with his chain very early in the race.
Did he cause the false start? Van Aert was disqualified once when he was 17, for causing a false start. He then snuk his bike on the course when the officials weren't watching and started as last. After a while he had overtaken the entire peloton, and i think he was leading, when they again pulled him off the track :tongueclosed:

Realistically he has none. It’s Thibau’s to lose.
There is a lot of talk about the track. They went to the mountains, but somehow managed to make an entirely flat course on an old airfield. Nobody's seen it yet so there are concerns about how "cross" it will end up being. I'm not expecting Brenner to suddenly podium or win, but the actual track might be a deciding factor on who does well and who doesn't.

He missed his start at bit, which ultimately killed his already very slim chances on getting close to a medal, but in the end he did so well today. He barely races against these guys and at one point was one of the fastest on the course. You could see, on those short sections of road, he was going twice as quick as some guys he was dealing with. It’s going to be a very boring junior season this year.

Let's hope Ponomar, Vacek jr and some others can keep it interesting.

Indeed, Ayuso will probably cause some trouble too. There's also the new first years who can hopefully impress. I'm not sure if he has joined the junior ranks, and even if he did; GB barely rides the big races, but there is a British phenom on the come up, who wins a lot. His name is Max Poole.

There are also still guys like Sheffield and Bittner.
Making the jump to U19 I heard of three big talents so far: Austrian Alexander Hajek winner of Radjugendtour, Estonian Madis Mihkels who won both RR and ITT at European youth olympics and big dutch climbing talent Cian Uijtdebroeks.

But at that age there will probably be some who will be making jumps from 1st to 2nd junior year or straight out of U17 who we don't expect. Will be very interesting.

He is very happy with the results. He says he isn't good in clipping in and out of the pedals because he isn't used to it. He also says he gained most of the time on the finishing straight.
In Cross he is always happy with top10 result. Its different from racing for the win but its fun. It is possible that he won't race cross next year.

There are some more, here are some of them,
Eddy le Huitouze was super impressive last year I expect a lot from him,
Gustav Wang did very well especially taking the junior u19 ITT title in Denmark while still an u17 rider,
Jack Carswell rode a new world record u17 IP, and did very well on the road as well.
Colby Simmons is coming over (the brother of), though I havent closely followed him.
Carl-Frederik Bevort seems very interesting to me, very consistant, but also had some injury last year, so missed some big races.

Someone else who might be able to challenge Brenner is Jeferson Ruiz Acuna, he will be 2nd year junior as well this year, he won Vuelta Porvenir in November as a 1st year junior. However as he is Colombian we won't see much of him, but on a hard Worlds course he could certainly feature.

But in general I think Brenner will dominate pretty hardcore, he is a world class talent.

Yeah, I've heard crazy stories about Le Huitouze as well. Apparently Madiot has already brought him along on FDJ training camps twice. Specialism doesn't really exist in junior ranks, but it's hard to see Le Huitouze being a threat to Brenner in general classifications. He is 1.84m and weighs 70+ kg, not ideal. Roubaix might be another story though, which Brenner has made his biggest goal along with CDLP.
