Wow. No love for 97 Ullrich.1995, 1998 Pantani, 1996 Riis, 1999, 2001 Armstrong, 2006 Baso. Maybe!!
Note: When I say Pantani I mean in the whole race, not the ITT!

Agree. But when I mentioned nobody on the planet - I meant nobody on the planet in 2020 - not ever. Mind you I think Pogi would have been interesting against those guys on that stage. I mean he was ahead of some of the best time trialists in the world even before the climb started. But I really want to see what Roglic and Pogi could do on the Alpe. I think that is the best benchmark against prior generations.Wow. No love for 97 Ullrich.km

so... will he ride the Vuelta this year?
If he does and ends up winning it, he'll be the youngest winner of all 3 GTs.
Well it depends.Vuelta will be awesome if we get to see him go against the Slovenians… and I don’t know if there’s a chance of landa being healed by then. Could be the strongest field of the three GTs this year?
Yes because nobody is capable of arguing in the least bit of good faith.Well it depends.
If my favorite rider wis the race it's a very strong field, otherwise it's a very weak field (sometimes historically weak field).
The fact that he has the same birthday as Pantani also helps a lot.Bernal to RAI: "This is the cycling I love. Hard stages, big mountains. I wanted to put on a show."
Italian fans have a new hero.
So much better than the rest. Stage after stage, he shows that he's not here to defend but also to attack. Incredible! Best performance in a Giro I ever seen
I started to watch Giro last yearSimoni in 2003?
Basso in 2006?
Froome in 2018?
Just from the top of my head.
Froome was garbage in 2018. Bernal would probably still be leading if you took the best time on each stage from his rivals.Simoni in 2003?
