It appears that Lance is desperate to sell that house. First he drops the price $2 million and now he is trying to get some free publicity in the house porn magazines.
why can't he just hire the house out to Larry Flint to make a few skin filcks in those outdoor grottos.

I can't find any news stories about an IRS investigation of the LAFE. Can you provide a link?

The reason 2009 figures haven't been entered is pretty simple. The filing deadline has not passed yet. They haven't completed their 2009 IRS financials at this point... nor have most organizations. I haven't started my 2009 taxes yet either.

Team Radioshack’s Lance Armstrong fell today in training near the end of a four hour ride. It happened when a cat darted out in front of him and he went over the top of the handlebars. He indicated that both he and the cat were fine.

“Back from a nice/easy 4 hr ride.” Lance Armstrong tweeted. “Well it was nice til that cat decided to run out right in front me and I go *** over bandbox. Wasn’t even a black cat. And for all you cat lovers, cat was fine. At least I never saw it again. Bad kitty.”

He also noted that he had some road rash and can be assumed he will be sore some tonight, but it seems as though he is fine. He is lucky he did not break a collarbone. Would not want to be the punch line of this joke: What does it take to stop a 7-time Tour champion? A stray cat.

I ride a bike. Farm dogs are more of a problem.

How do you know the cat was a 'stray'?

I agree about Tasteless Trailer.

Susan ... it was a Spanish dog ... but then Anglo/French humour has no place here.

Lance was of course clean at least years tour - he was probably the only clean rider in the peleton. Contador on the other hand was doped up to his eye balls and still only put 5 mins into lance. Come this July i can see something special from the champion - his 8th tour de france victory.

A word of advice - if you can't say something rational and intelligent, don't say anything at all.

i truly marvel at how easily one obvious, nonsensical bait gets swallowed, quoted and re-quoted by so many. really a perfect feeding ground for a troll.

Amusing aside... but why was my post quoted in posting it? Doesn't seem to have anything to do with the IRS... unless the cat was an undercover agent.

No. It is not appropriate to wish anyone serious injury.

Remember, it was a cat which caused Matthias Kessler to crash recently.

Susan

It has been noted that the "Blackcat" was seen often rummaging through a garbage bin behind "Red Loadsters"!!!!

Typical homeowner mistake. way too much furniture for the space. clashing lighting styles, a little imbalance, warm flooring, sterile ceiling. what the heck is with coffered ceilings in EVERY room? a little variation would be nice.

The furnishings are outstanding, but cluttered.

rather subjective, one's taste. no? where do you get all your interior decorating chops?

I also thought the coffered ceilings were a bit overboard for every room. The trophy room was missing wainscoting which would have brought the class of the room up from typical jocks track home to a class act.

I said this in another thread but it is worth saying here I guess. I heard Matthew McConaughey's and the Strongarm are coming out with a new “pork&beef” sausage product for the state of Texas, they are going to call it “StrongMcCocked”.

StrongArm's place had "interior decorator to the nouveau riche" all over it. Just filling the orthodoxy of what one has to display when one has "made it". Modern art, tick. Entertaining abode, check. Just a business accoutrement and status symbol. Needs it on the outside. Telling. StrongArm.

Take a look at a lot of wealthy sportsmens houses and I suspect you'll see similar.
