Never thought id celebrate a boring 0-0 but that's a good result for Villa today after 6 straight defeats.

You were lucky to take the point. Incomprehensible that Allardyce brought Carroll in the 92nd of 94 minutes. He nearly scored twice too.

Who knew Equatorial Guinea has enough stadiums to hold the the ACN? Apparently they have two. Maybe their dictator who has held power for 35 years can have a couple of new ones built in one month?

Words fail for the latest FIFA p!ss-take. I really believe that the time has come for a revolution. As we all know, money talks. If the three biggest, most powerful countries in terms of the appeal of their domestic competitions for the big, global sponsors - England, Spain and Germany - threaten to break away, the big sponsors may well have to reconsider their unconditional support for the way King Sepp runs his personal empire.

FIFA has become a joke, an absolute laughing sock. Bold action is needed.

If there's any justice, the Puskas Award, FIFA's Goal of the Year, will for the first time be won by a woman. Check out this awesomeness! :D

Agree, that goal was highlighted over here quite a lot when she scored it.

Scotland deserved their win last night. I don't think O'Neill has brought much to the plate since taking over. I don't see any methodology in the way the side is currently playing. Seven points from 4 games isn't a disaster by any means but we have been extremely lucky to have that tally at this stage. Late goals against Georgia and Germany have covered the cracks in terms of the performances.

What's your guys opinion on all this talk about Rooney being an England great? I myself don't think he should be (but I really dislike Rooney so I'm biased)

An England great yes, his caps and goals record proves it. He is not a world great though, he is quite a way behind the words best.

Nice to see an England side play with some passion like last night, a nice 3-1 win over the Scots is always welcome. Before people say 'it's only Scotland' this is the same side that only lost 2-1 to the world champions Germany last month.

Considering that England , except for winning in 1066 nerver won anything why shouldn't he? I think the only reason why people would say he isn't an England great is for the lack of succes in international tournaments. But who's really been much better besides the guys around Charlton?

Plus it's really not Rooney's fault that England choaches insisted on the obscure blasphemy of playing Scholes (or any other talented midfield player) on the wing.

Tonight's the cup final of Brazil, with both final teams being from Belo Horizonte.
The local newspaper decided there's only 1 thing that matters today. The rest is just 'bla'

I love it :D

But Ronaldo was so incredibly impressive last season.
Neuer is the best goalkeeper, but the difference with Courtois isn't that big.
Ronaldo (and I don't even like the guy!) was out of this world.
