Real Madrid: Cassillas,Carvajal, Pepe, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo,James, Kroos, Isco,Bale, Benzema, Cristiano Ronaldo

Juventus: Buffon,Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Chellini, Evra ,Pirlo,Marchisio, Pogba, Vidal,Tevez, Morata

So Juventus last team which stands against Real and a new El Clasico.I know the chances are low, very low but anyway:Forza ragazzi!

I will join you just this once in supporting Juve, a team I otherwise detest, for two reasons - I have disliked Real since the days of Franco, and because of Carlitos, a true West Ham Legend.

That's the only link for me too,i was never a fan of Juventus.Juve,Milan and Inter are on my black list,i'm a Roma supporter from the Italian teams. One of my favorite CL finals is still that Dortmund-Juve 3-1,but since i don't like the Spanish giants either,i support the underdog in this double.

I dislike Barca, but damn, can't get enough of ter Stegen. Instinctive kind of goalie, reminds me of Jan Oblak in his Benfica heydays, even though it was just a season. I'd watch a match just for these two. Everything midfield forward is overrated.

I think Juve will go through to the finals...

My fave edition in recent time was their 94 lineup with

Peruzzi, Ferrera, Kohler, Tacchinardi, Conte, Sousa, Deschamps, Di Livio, Baggio, Del Piero, Vialli, Ravanelli etc....

Awesome team..

However one could argue that the Zidane years were even more exceptional...

Oh please, match ruined already. What's up with this footballers, everyone dives on minimal contact these days. Here I was trying to reconcile with he sport just for James to remind me of why I trurned my back at it. I guess I chose the wrong match anyway.

1-0 for Real. Ronaldo, penalty.

Schadenfreude ist die schönste Freude.

:D

As the Dutch say, 'Helemaal niets, helemaal niets in Madrid' - Madrid has nothing at all. :p

I know, maybe Suarez is to blame for it.But Italians are hard to read as always and normally they can defend very well. We'll see.

here i am trying to convince myself 'tis just a game.....................however i can see tomorrow being the worst of recent times

it's deja vu just like the last relegation the toon seemed so safe only to get complacent and be sucked in to the dogfight

and to make it worse only recently the mackems seemed racing certainties for the drop........only to escape............again

I don't expect you should have any difficulty taking all three points today, since we have absolutely nothing to play for, except to aim for a positive GD. The question is, will three points be enough? In any event, I wish you luck, as I've had a soft spot for the Toon ever since Pop Robson. ;)

G O A L L L L L L ! ! ! ! ! newcastle.............maybe? it's not the worst toon side.....ever!

3 points would be enough as would a loss for hull

Mark L

4 against the goalie and they still couldnt get a second, thankfully Jonas scored to steady my nerves

wonderful moments jonas celebrating his goal after his recent troubles

...........and the toon managed to finish higher than the mackems............here's to next year

Mark L

now sparing a thought for burnley palace and hull

thanks! del1962...............after a stressful day my brain was not correctly engaged...............mentioning palace

one must give credit to alan pardew he has worked wonders.......................sadly he was not given adequate

recognition at NUFC

now moving on are the toons chances of securing a top flight manager on par with fans likelihood of seeing a star

striker at st james park?

Ancelotti sacked today - Real's 11th manager in the last 13 years.

The bookies make Slaven Bilic favorite to take over at West Ham, with Michael Laudrup as another contender....but then the Mirror came with this -

Marseille boss Marcelo Bielsa wants the West Ham job.

The former Chile and Athletic Bilbao coach is understood to have rejected interest from Italian club Sampdoria.

Bielsa has made it clear to the Hammers that he would rather move to the Premier League to succeed Sam Allardyce.

It is a boost for the East Londoners, who had already had the 59-year-old, currently learning English, on their shortlist.

With their move to the Olympic Stadium just 12 months away, West Ham want a big name capable of taking them to the next level.

They want to be playing in Europe and to be reaching the latter stages of the domestic cup competitions.

On a tight budget, Bielsa has led Marseille into next season’s Europa League, having been narrowly beaten to a Champions League spot by Monaco.

I would LOVE to see Bielsa lead us to the promised land of the new stadium!
