City first blood.

Mou's counter tactics only work with a competent defence, very embarassing passiveness there.

Pep lying is too obvious. Bravo had a nightmare debut and should have been sent off for that challenge on Rooney. But many Utd players were missing. Pogba, Mkhitaryan and many others were just not up to participate.

Alaves beating Barca at camp not.. Wtf

Now waiting for some nice Serie A games

Poor Celtic, really didn't see that battering coming. Hope some miracle puts them through.

Cavani has such good movement but he can't finish... Arsenal got away with one. Napoli going strong to, Koulibaly is a world class CB and they're showing hear ambition rejecting bids for him and placing a 90m release clause in his contract.

So Cerefin won the election at the UEFA. He was outspoken against the planned CL reforms, which would basically favour the big clubs even more and give them even more money. Here's to hoping that he actually sticks to his word, but hoping big shots in the football world care about the sport is probably in vain......

Arghh, typical Ronaldo dive, scores. Guy must have missed his last 100 free kicks, now delivers it perfectly against his former team.

Must say that as a Benfica fan I was rooting for Sporting. This really drops like a bomb, inside the last 5 minutes.

Talking about that, why does he never shoot his free kicks like today. Usually he tries to strike the ball as hard as possible and therefore either hits the wall or the shot is 2 meters too high.

Anyway, Madrid was really lucky and definitely didn't deserve this win.

He always tries to shoot the swirling ball.

But why? It never works.

Juve scoreless. Can't have Lemina and Asamoah in the midfield... Not playing Pjanic is so ***. They could and should still have won though, Higuain hit the crossbar with a header from a Dani Alves cross. Real got so lucky though. Zidane is the luckiest manager right now.

Tonight some EL matches... Aaaand no one cares.

YES YES YES

It's been so long we beat Juve in a regular league game and finally it happened. If FDB had lost here I think he would have been absolutely slaughtered by fans and the press, but my god did he set up the team so well today. Banega SO good in the midfield, knows how to pick a pass and his work rate is absolutely phenomenal. Miranda a BEAST in defense and Icardi so good up top, scoring and assisting. Medel didn't put a foot wrong. Perisic came on as a sub and was electric too, what a player.

I don't understand how Juve can start Asamoah though. He was terrible, gave the ball away so much to us. They need Marchisio back.

Napoli flying under the radar so far now topping the league. They are a force to be reckoned with, might even be better now with the Higuain money they spent on improving their squad.

Mou... wtf is happening? Embarrassing.

Barca - Atleti draw 1-1. Messi and Busquets injured could potentially mean bad things for Barca. I mean, they have a good squad, can push Mascherano up as a DM, Umtiti comes in as a CB, Arda Turan or Denis Suarez can take Messi's place and do a job... but still, not the deepest of squads.

Mauro Icardi is on fire now. 6 goals in 5 games, scored twice away at Empoli. Juventus considerably more comfortable at home smashing Cagliari. De Boer is finally getting his ideas across maybe?

What more does Fabregas have to do to prove he should earn a starting place? I know Conte doesn't gel with players who have poor defensive work rates, but this player is just a genius on the pitch. World class. He's rumored to be going to Milan now... what a steal that would be and such an improvement over the likes of Montolivo... yuck.

I was surprised at Everton's exit in the cup, but they did play a weaker side. It shows that they have a great starting XI, but their depth is really poor. It might prove costly trying to get into the top 4 which I think, with Koeman at the helm, they have a great shot at accomplishing.

Clash of the twits. Wenger annoys the crap out of me sometimes, to be honest, but Mourinho is an arrogant loud mouth and a serial attention seeker.

That said, they're both obsessed with each other. Wenger is bitter Mourinho actually wins stuff and Mourinho envies Arsène for how he manages to be in front of the club despite staying trophyless for most of the time (2005-2014). Mourinho is seeing the sack around the corner and it grinds his gears just imagining Wenger will keep the job while, like him, winning absolutely nothing.

Like watching two drags fight on a RuPaul catwalk. Top notch entertainment.

I have been critical myself of Wenger's behaviour in the past and Ferguson's for that matter too, but I think Mourinho surpasses them both by some bit.

Using Rob Beasley who has been his mouthpiece for years to read people to dirt and to do his bidding for him in the media, I'm now interested to know is this book done with Mourinho's consent. There are a number of other articles with extracts from this book and it seems these conversations were done in privacy with knowledge that they wouldn't go public. Beasley(Chelsea fan) and Mourinho are friends. Nevertheless, I wonder is Mourinho really happy with this. I would guess not.

Mourinho is totally obsessed with Wenger. You're right about the stability that Wenger has and how that annoys Mourinho. Near the end of his first spell at Chelsea, he told a group of journalist why don't they criticise Wenger more often. That was way back around 2007. It still gets to him to this day.

I detest the man.

Last week because the Daily Mail is after him? Nah, he'll be sacked if he loses another couple of matches repeatedly (which is bound to happen) but not because a tabloid is posting stories on him.

What's with the avalanche of news about him, anyway? Some first look inside the Beasley book or something? Everyday is revelation day about Mourinho ''up close and personal''.

Edit: Seen gooner's post. Ye, I don't think Mourinho will be pleased. On the other hand any publicity is good publicity for the likes of him, as long as he's being talked about.

Beasley has a book coming out. It just happens to coincide with now. Daily Mail are publishing extracts of it.
