So he slid (his back wheel) 75 m to go, 50 m before the other two crashed.
Also good interview
That is a big IF. If he loses less than 15-20s I would be totally on the hype train again. If he drops everyone I'm going to Belgium to force Lefevre to make him ride the Tour lol.If he can drop the competition on the finishing climb tomorrow he is back on the track of the hype.
Yes...I guess Vlasov crashed just ahead of Remco and that's why Martinez took 2 seconds at the finish. I haven't seen any footage of it, so I'm not sureSo he slid (his back wheel) 75 m to go, 50 m before the other two crashed.
He really should do the Tour. Not with the expectations to finish high in GC, but it's the parcours that probably should suit him the best. That is a big IF. If anyone wants to see the reason for the fall at the end, here is a video
Yes, but if Vingegaard and Vlasov hadn't crashed, Remco would have come 5th it seems from that shot. But, then again, if his wheel slid 50 meters before then he has an excuse.
He should gain some more weight to prevent that from happening. So he slid (his back wheel) 75 m to go, 50 m before the other two crashed.
2 secs is crazy to defend. He needs to drop Martinez, but that is a tall order.Really really interesting to see what will happen with Remco tomorrow. So far I have really enjoyed the way he raced this week. He had some tough moments on the steeper climbs, but on other parts he is such an attacking rider.
I think somehow tomorrow he will go down again trying to defend the first place in GC against better climbers. But hopefully he can manage to stay on for a long while to make it an exciting race. For me the big favorite is Martinez now. But interesting to see if Evenepoel can pull this one off.
Not necessarily. If there is a break ahead, he can just stay with Martinez, which makes it a lot more doable than dropping him. Still, my expectations are that he can't manage to hold on, but he's surprised me this week tbf.2 secs is crazy to defend. He needs to drop Martinez, but that is a tall order.
I thought Primoz would win this easily. But apparently he saw the best one-week stage racer topic and decided he did not want to improve on that ranking.Even if he falls down to like 5th or something tomorrow, it's still been a great week for him. No one really believed he would win the race, did they?
[Insert drunk sex scene from The Wire]Guys, you know who lost Itzulia last year?
Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit[Insert drunk sex scene from The Wire]
He did manage to get some good wins this year.
All I can say is godspeed Remco (with nothing to take away from Martinez, cause he is a right good bloke and so strong). Not necessarily. Are you know also one of his coaches at Quickstep? He should gain some more weight to prevent that from happening.
