Sure, but the races he can win are more limited than Merckx, and doubling up in GTs is much harder.

It's obviously Evenepoel. If you want to nominate women for equality points, they should be able to win, but this year would be a crazy year to do that. Just split the award.

Remco seems to have done quite well in a variety of races. Only pure sprint races he likely wouldn't win (unless of course, he solos away)
Lampaert thinks he should win "something like the Ballon d'Or of cycling"... WTF. Do these guys not even know there is a Velo d'Or?
He would only know if there was a Tracteur d'Or.
I don't see him winning MSR, PR or Flanders any time soon.
I think it's obvious Evenepoel is still a better 1 day/hilly racer than GT specialist. And it's mostly his climbing that has improved, he's not gaining even more on flats compared to people he just dropped than before.
I think he can realistically win RVV if he wanted to. And it might be easier for him to win than The Tour if Vingegaard and Pog show up in that condition.

Agreed. I would be very surprised if he wins one of those races in the upcoming 5 months.
