Is it now okay to safely say that this fortunately wasn't the case? :)

Last time I brought it up (probably after Liège) people were not quite ready to agree.
I don't know. Do you think they got his weight right? Imagine how much better he would be if he just lost the fat.

I think it's obvious Evenepoel is still a better 1 day/hilly racer than GT specialist. And it's mostly his climbing that has improved, he's not gaining even more on flats compared to people he just dropped than before.

I think he can realistically win RVV if he wanted to. And it might be easier for him to win than The Tour if Vingegaard and Pog show up in that condition.
