Pogacar's 2021 was definitely better, especially taking into account the next tier of wins, but this tops every other season this century.Last season that was better? Is Pogs TdF and 2 monuments comparable/better? Depends on how much higher you put WC to a monument and how much higher you put TdF than Vuelta. Either way he should definitely try for lombardy, even with empty legs.
If he has this season for the next 10 years his palmares just about matches Merckx, let's not get carried away.
Ok 4 goals. Was one of them to make you justifiably smug?
Sure, but the races he can win are more limited than Merckx, and doubling up in GTs is much harder. He will get better, just as Merckx did
Merckx wasn't winning everything at age 22. His big breakout came at 24
So, biggest favourite for the Velo d'Or now?

4th rider in history to win a monument, a grand tour and the world championship in one season.

Okay I concede it should be Van Aert now.So, where do we stand?
We needed an argument to counter in case some clown started posting Disney images. Is it now okay to safely say that this fortunately wasn't the case?
Last time I brought it up (probably after Liège) people were not quite ready to agree.
I don't know. Do you think they got his weight right? Imagine how much better he would be if he just lost the fat.Is it now okay to safely say that this fortunately wasn't the case?
