Agreed. That's probably zone 2 for me, and although he is recovering and lighter than me, I would hope his FTP is above mine.

We probably dont need to fact check that.

The Zwift graphs shows his performance is mid zone 2 but that may not be what we normally define as zone 2. I would think that's closer to a heart rate of 150 bpm.

Btw, he did 1h @ 214 W and 137 bpm today in "zone 2". He is gradually increasing his level.

No way that is his zone 2. More like recovery. I literally had an endurance ride today doing 212 watts lol

Yeah, that was me. I had hoped for something more noticeable but maybe more changes are not possible under UCI rules.

I don't dislike their jersey but it's definitely not one of their best.

I'm still mostly curious about the bikes, especially the TT bike since he's World and Olympic Champion at TT. The road bike will probably be a similar golden bike as last year I guess.

The power to be a WC ITT has to come from somewhere of course. I don't feel his legs are different compared to general in season form.

Yesterday he did two 1.5 hour workouts on Zwift, totalling about 95km.

Slowly but surely he seems to be on the right track. Let's hope from next week on he can start to ride outside.

There was a short article about his revalidation, and that he hopes he can train outside 3-4 February. Reason they didn't train outside yet was because the shocks would have too much impact on his shoulder.

What I don't understand, but someone else here might know. Why doesn't he do proper long trainings indoor? Is that just not realistic? Sure it's probably extremely boring, but physically it should be possible?
