If Armstrong is at some point found "guilty" of using PEDs/steroids etc., will the parties that he successfully sued for libel (claiming that he used PEDs/steroids etc.) be able to recover damages from him?

Lance, lance, lance...you didn't collect any money for real. Just like your version of history; you imagined it.

ESPN just cued up the Armstrong story on Sports Center!

OK, that was about as brief as could be. They quoted Swart and mentioned the T/E fail. They gave it about 5.5 seconds before commercial. I'm sure that won't be the final word though.

You scoop guys have lost some credibility in regards to upcoming SI articles. You keep telling everyone that something big and good is coming. In the end, nothing but a big FAIL. You lose some credibility when you present information as if it is a done deal and in the end we are stuck with a WTF moment????.

What was in the article? If you had information that it was just a matter of time before the article gets dropped then you should have some good information on what was inside the article. What was going to be so big?

Now there is some tease about a article in the Sunday times. Really? Really? What is the date for it to come out? January 18th? January 23? January 30? Seriously just save it. I will believe it when I read it.

Good call sir. Someone having a WTF moment down there in TX.

Armstrong's spokesman Mark Fabiani would only respond by telling Cyclingnews, "The story is filled with old news, recycling the same old tired lies from the same old tired liars".
http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/armstrong-subject-of-new-doping-allegations

Really?? Because the details on the Motorola, HemAssist, T/E results weren't part of the initial claims and Swart wasn't an initial public witness (at least not in mainstream U.S. media)

... or perhaps he's just talking about his response.

There's really not a whole lot more he can say at this point. The dude has his work cut out for him this year.

No kidding. He needs to get a better denial statement too, something with threats would be good.

Agreed, just would expect it to maybe be more tailored to the particular allegations. For example, maybe this time use the "most tested athlete" line.

I wonder if Jonker has anything intelligent to add on the radio this morning. He knows there was no doping at USPS so hopefully he can set the record straight.

Already got one! (ok not related):

"Unfortunately the winner (of the teams classifcation) is very quickly forgotten."

I guess all the outraged e-mails from Clinic regulars worked then...

Hookers and blow? Whatever. The rest of it is good enough for me.

My question is...Since they apparently found PEDs at Popovich's house then why isn't he suspended?

If this was watered-down, I'd love to see what was in the original. Jesus.

exactly my thoughts.

Just a shame there isnt the bit i really wanted to see, proof that lance was raking in money from his "cancer foundation".

In the end we all know he doped, even the fanboys know he doped, but hes always got the "i help cancer sufferers" to fall back on. Thats what i want taken away.

Lance isn't getting much for his money from this clown.
