Damn this city is so gorgeous. And look at the crowds. And it's a good course, too.

Great race, nice course and many spectators ! :)
Nice to watch - and stream from start till finish

Always nice to see it live how the race develops from the beginning and the groups are formed.

What was baloni doing there? Odd crash.
I think the commentator is explaining, but I'm not buddies with the French language. A little help from the francophones?

I'm no expert (most of my french comes from reading cereal boxes) but I think they basically said they didn't know, he swung wide maybe to pull off the front then got caught up in the pot hole. I got "didn't know" and "pot hole" anyways.

12 Laps, 145km to go...

How can Eurosport cover seemingly minor European races but not a ProTour race just because its not in Europe?

They said they have a packed schedule for sunday so they won't be showing it live but there will be recorded coverage later on so it's not like they're just skipping it.

Simply because it's Sunday. Always the day with the heaviest schedule.
They had to a quick change of their schedules, just to catch today's Vuelta MTF.
Were this race on a Monday, for instance, they would show the lot.

As for covering the TDU. Sky Sports seem to have the copyright for highlights.
I suspect nobody would be bother to get out of bed, just to fall asleep infront of their tv screens.;)
