He didn't drop in the crosswinds. Wiggins got dropped on the Kemmel. Greipel got dropped even before (rodeberg).

There is of course the possiblity that Wiggins simply wasn't good enough.

He made the selection on the much tougher stage yesterday, I doubt he forgot how to ride overnight.

Wiggans is going OK, I think he wants to have a go at P-R so battering himself chasing is unlikely.

Anyway, enough about Wiggins letting me down (personally) again, let's talk about today's stage. Sprinter roll call!

Roman Feillu
Greg Henderson
The Cossack

Who else is up there?

Wiggins must be right up the top of all-time rankings of salary vs road race wins. No doubt he'll smoke tomorrow's TT

The stage yesterday wasn't that tough. Without the Berendries the loop around Zottegem isn't difficult. If it was you shouldn't see 100+ riders sprinting for victory. I wonder how much the exclusion of the Berendries wil affect the racing in the finale of the ronde...

At least he performs in the Tour and the Ardennes Classics.

No doubt he's a more talented rider, but in straightforward comparison of salary v. actual wins, Schleck smashes all comers, including Wiggins.

Renshaw is in the group, but I think it's also because Grabsch is in the group. ;)

I'm pretty sure Renshaw can look after himself in a crosswind, but having Grabsch there sure wouldn't hurt

I hear Renshaw as well as Degenkolb and Howard.

Should be a superfast leadout for him then :D
